Samuel Robert Johnson (R-Tx) Samuel Johnson represents the 3rd congressional district of Texas. He claims to have an enforcement first approach to immigration. On his website http://www.samjohnson.house.gov/Issues/Issue/?IssueID=1933 he is quoted as saying “if you are here legally, you ought to be rewarded. If you are here illegally, you ought to be deported”. Also Mr. Johnson is a staunch opponent of amnesty. According to vote smart. org (http://www.votesmart.org/npat.php?can_id=27079#11443) representative Johnson would not support, amnesty for illegal immigrants already working in the U.S., a pathway for legalization for illegal immigrants, or support merit-based visas over family visas. Due to the representatives stance on immigration I think it would be unlikely to support DREAM act or CIR.
