Good afternoon,

Your Forms I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, and r I-765, Application for Employment Authorization According to USCIS records this case review is still ongoing and it could take several months before a final decision is made. Unfortunately, agency guidelines do not allow for the expedited processing of Forms I-821D. Therefore, your form will be processed in the order in which it was received.

Please note that estimated processing times are processing goals and not a guarantee that applications will be processed within the estimated timeframe. Due to the pending caseload at the Nebraska Service Center, these DACA applications will be worked, in order, as timely as processing and adjudication resources will permit. We have no specific time frame as to how long this might take.

We hope that this information will be of assistance to you. At this time I am closing your inquiry on this matter.

Sincere Regards,

USCIS Nebraska Service Center
This is frustrating.

Ryker, in a previous post, you posted an approval email. Is this inquiry in regard to when they are sending you the physical card?

DACA is their last priority trust me, it's sad but true, we can't expedite under any circumstance. I was reading other sites and I keep seeing people EAD been renewed at NSC, so I don't trust none of the crap they mention on their system been down or why not. They have basically no incentives to take our cases because they have all the time they need. Let's just pray and hope we all get better immigration status in the future. Thx to DACA but after this renewal I will follow the next step up the ladder and get me a green card.

I have come to the same realization in the last few weeks. I worked so incredibly hard to get to this point. Now I can only brace myself to loose my dream job thanks to some stupid delay. I will work so diligently on getting a greencard and perhaps go back to school and get another degree. Our lives can't stop just because of this, we must keep going.

Yep, quite frustrating. They keep referring to these arbitrary guidelines- wonder where these are published because the guidelines publicly available on USCIS do say that as long as you apply between 120-150 days- you'll be granted an extension for upto 120 days while processing continues and we know these extensions aren't granted. smh.
Every customer service group/email seem to have their own templated version of response to explain the delays.

Sorry to hear - you'd think card production would be fairly quick.

I'm in Aug 17 xp date too regardless of making an enquiry online or talking to a uscis rep. I get the same thing as most however on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov , it says my Biometrics has been over due for 100+ days. Even after I asked about that to the uscis rep, his words: if you completed your Biometrics, got a receipt , then you have done your part and just gotta wait

I think at this point the only person in any position of power to help us out would be the secretary of Homeland Jeh Johnson. Maybe, we need to do like a phone call or email campaign to get his attention? He can easily issue an order in regards to extensions of soon to be expiring EADs.

I agree, there must be something we can do to get noticed. I don't think anyone, expect us on this boat, knows about this, there has to be a way where we can get organized, maybe contact NILC as a group to contact the secretary, ask for the extension. They shouldn't ignore if the group is large enough.

Yea I totally agree. Every single one of us should contact the NILC and tell them about these delays and the fact that thousands of permits are going to expire soon. They have enough clout to be able to get the ball rolling.
