thats great news , i do wonder how does your lawyer know your interviews date without you even taking the biometrics yet? have you checked you case #s ? does it say interview already?

NO email notifications from USCIS .. So I'm not sure how my lawyer knew...@ Clarmanks no new updates on case status ? My I 485 bubble says testing and interview ..and her I 130 still says initial review..

Thank you Clarmarks..I really wasn't expecting it to go so fast because according to the website my location is working on cases from March 2013 go figure. I'm sure you will hear something soon.

Re: DOMA Struck Down

I talked with a few lawyers recently over email (one was in regards to a friends case) and they all said that things are moving very slowly this time of the year.

I had one friend apply for naturalization and get the interview a month, but another friend who applied a bit later has been waiting for about 2 months and 2 weeks to get the interview scheduled. This is all in the same area.

If you put in an email address and a phone number sometimes they only send updates to one. They likely don't input both if they don't want to. So perhaps your lawyer's info was included.
