My gut is telling me definitely less than 4 months if is a straight forward case.

I hope its not more than 4 months (so I'll have EAD by the end of 2012) but bureaucracy pretty much moves at a snail's pace and considering the flood of applications expected...who the hell knows.. :(

This is just a guess, but I think it will be 4 months. I usually have precognitive dreams and I had one with a 4 and a 28 so thats my guess.

Could be 4 months 28 days.
I think thats my application though, it should be different for everyone.
