My life is boring as we speak.

There is nothing important going on right now. The real reason behind all this is my own vanity. We've been having a lot of snow and that's why I can't wear pretty shoes. And you know what, all I have going for me in life right now is pretty shoes. Without them, I'm nothing. Nothing, nothing and nada. Having to wear a coat and boots is seriously affecting me. I see girls who are obviously, just as vain as I and go out in a little jacket and wear their nice shoes and while I applaud them, they just look stupid. I tried to wear a normal jacket this morning and it's really cold. Unless the East coast plans to reimburse me for my footwear, I just can't justify to look cute right now. LOL

I understand where you're coming from. This is definitely easier said than done. Every individual has their limitations and at some point there is no more patience. I really really hope this struggle brings some sort of fruit in the future as you're saying.

Tyler, I just want to tell you that you're not the only one with those feelings if that makes you feel better. I recently had my own fight with God but I feel like doing that just makes the situation worse and worse for us. The fact that we're angry and cursing at him shows that we believe in him. There is no point in doing this because it's not going to change anything. Keep up your studies and I'm sure by the time you're done with ur PHD, we will be out of this mess.

This is your education your grades and or your service in the military and go about it as the most humble person here is on earth. Keep your head down and work and mouth closed then whatever happens regardless of politics which changes with the wind whatever happens your covered. Worst case scenario you get deported guess what you will be so far ahead of anyone in that country you will make a fantastic living and be happy if you get citizenship and have that great education then there is nothing you will be but happy. But blaming God are you kidding me? Just keep yourself out of trouble be a positive humble person and go through all the challenges just like everyone else and you will be successful. There are no shortcuts and there sure as hell no handouts for undocumented students you need to know that face it and beat it in your head.

Ha-ha. The worst pt is, there is no fruit in the future. It's like a kid from Somalia trying hard to learn English everyday in hope of one day coming to US only to find out that everyone in US already speak English and what he tried so hard for in Somalia was worthless. That's how we'd feel when we get our citizenship.

It's as hard for us to rise up the social rank as much as it's hard for someone to go down in the social rank. Even if the son of a Managing Director at an investment Bank parties everyday and fails every class, it would be hard for him to go out of his way and not work in investment bank just like his Dad. Meanwhile, there are ppl like us who's from the lowest of the lowest and would go head over heels for an A in class, just to get a small chance of getting an interview at the same Investment Bank.

After 8 yrs of hell, at age 32, I'd be working under some 22yr old punk from Harvard who'll treat me like a kid. But that's only if I'm extremely lucky and try so fucking hard.

I'm not doing fine, I mean I'm still going to college and have everything going on just like before. But now I am afraid to do anything, as I grow older, it becomes more clear. My relationship with family isn't great either, they start to think I'm kinda a loser in some ways. And I can't do anything otherwise to prove them wrong. Everyday, I wake up without a real life purpose. I have no soul. I guess soon enough, even I would be tried of myself, then maybe we will see each other in another world. XOXO

I'm doing great! It sucks that we as Dreamers have so many limitations in our lives but I've learned, over the last two or so years, that you can't live your life focusing on them. Some things, I've deemed as impossible. At least for the time being. You're never going to get these years of your life back. Don't waste them.
