I had my biometrics for 10/25/12 but went as a walk in on 10/4/12 and i received my approval on 10/27/12 it took less than a month for me :)

I received my appointment for November 16th at 9a.m.

West Pico office in Los Angeles.

Since I work that day and time and I don’t want to ask for a day off I walked in today
October 29th during my lunch break.

I took my expired passport as ID.

i got lucky too just 20 days after biometrics, no walk in.
