I don't think a disaster but more of a mess, since after all the changes by Congress, things were changed...I also think healthcare is actually more important than CIR.

Should've been a single-payer system from the start. But health insurance lobbyists weren't going to let that happen. It is a mess & doesn't fix a lot of problems, but it's a start, & better than what was in place before. Except for us of course..

More important? Sure, arguably the most important thing in life is your health. If it wasn't for good health you wouldn't be able to live or enjoy life. But as a country with an already implemented health system that has worked for many years, but never secured it's boarders isn't it more important to do so and know who's in the country? Then get all those here to pay taxes? Look at this big mess we're in 17 trillion dollar deficit, why not work on it instead of a healthcare system that'll just add onto to it? CIR has been proven to reduce the deficit.. Soon there aren't going to be any jobs to be worth it to stay here undocumented.
