I dunno why you guys are being so negative. Trump could have just phased us out and stopped all pending apps and renewals and just stopped everything. We have time and so many legislative bills. We will get something. Prolly Bridge Act.

Mixed feelings... but feel like we are in a much stronger position now than January when everyone speculated an end to the program with no relief or compromise.

As with most ppl, I was more shocked with his election victory than his DACA decision. But just keep in mind we are in this together, ur not alone! Stay positive, we have a lot of heavy hitters in Washington on our side, even guys like Paul Ryan of all people!

Agreed. The feeling I had election night is unexplainable. This comes close though...feel like I'm between feeling nothing and bawling my eyes out. Currently in class so I gotta keep my composure.

I am numb, I am tired of all of this......our lives are not political bargaining chips. Trump won't support anything unless he gets something on his agenda approved too.

Its like whatever. Only used DACA for my license...but California now gives licenses to undocumented. No problem.

Just a quick question, any one of us dreamers (w/ DACA) could've gotten a legal status if we really wanted to. Even for EWI folks, you could've traveled back to your country through AP and marry an USC after coming back in w/ inspection.

What stopped y'all from doing that?
