Government agencies are just terrible...

USPS just called me because I opened the case. They said they are looking into it to try to get the tracking scan. They said USCIS doesn't pick up the mail in their PO Box? WTF lol...anyways it doesn't explain why the tracking didn't update to delivered if it ended up in the PO Box.

Got a update this morning from the case inquiry team and they made a bunch of excuses: The tracking that I'm seeing is bullshit. They are saying it's system generated and the mail might not be in transit. The mail envelope might be destroyed their machine and it's lost somewhere. They have 30 days to deliver the letter before they claim it as lost.

Maybe cancel the check and then resend?

I had issues with USPS too this time around, but it did get there (about 4 business days later than it should have).

Same happened to me. After a bunch of "processing exception" updates, it is now at the Chicago Post Office. Hope it finally arrives and stops looping. This might not have been such a bad thing, since I expire in August and my new expiration will be closer to that date since my package has been delayed almost 3 weeks now.

That said, I'll be staying VERY far away from the USPS moving forward.

I'm thinking of waiting till end of week. If it does not arrive by Monday, I will cancel and have the letter intercepted. I'm not sending through USPS anymore, this is terrible service.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Mine is exactly two weeks. I'll wait a few more days and hope it arrives.

My package was finally delivered today!!!! I'm used to seeing "signed by..." as the final status update, but this one says "delivered to mail room..." Has that been the case for any of y'all and how long from it being delivered to the mail room to getting your acceptance receipt?

How long exactly did that take? Did you use USPS and tried to get a signature confirmation? The address was to a PO Box so maybe they couldn't get a signature.
