I'll give you the same advice I give everyone. Find some pathway through this shit and work towards it.

If you've got an LPR parent - yes F2B will take 6+ years but it is at least some light at the end of the tunnel. Country of origin goes to shit - be ready to file for asylum. Whatever pops up - use it.

Cause if you just sit with your thumb up your ass and wait for the government to do a reform then you'll be waiting until you're dead.

I do have a petition through LPR parent and I’m waiting for my PD to become current. My biggest worry is them dying by the time I get approved

I used to be you. Dont do it, there are so many good things to live for and things change. Hope this will help you. But I lost most of my hair(like patchy balled) at the age of 17 due to the stress of being undocumented. I found out late sophomore year of high school and the implications of being undocumented. I was embarrassed that I cant drive like most of my friends. All of the hard word studying for college was wasted knowing I cant hold a regular job. My close friend who I confided in about my status left because he doesn't want to hang with dirty undocumented(he's a legal Hispanic). I worked odd jobs after high school for couple of years then DACA came along. Similar situation, somehow I had this hot white girl all over me at a point when I had DACA. Couldnt go with her to Denmark to clap her cheeks so some Denmark boy ended up clapping her cheeks. I thought my life was over.

Homie, only 10 years later. I got my citizenship through work. Married the love of my life, multiple degrees, recently bought a house, own several new BMW/Tesla cars, 7 figure NW, got into skiing, traveled to many countries and dined/stayed in some of the most expensive hotel/Michelin places around the world. I'm well respected in my line of work and gave my parents green card.

I cant promise you things will get better, but you gotta fight. Fight hard and find every bit of chance to get papers and get ahead. Dont throw the towel in now, because it means all the pain and suffering you have endured was for nothing.

I have been depressed about the fact that everyone in my family is either a citizen or has a green cards (Including my parents) except for me. My girl left me because she wanted me to go on a trip to Europe and I told her no.

Dont give a shit of what your family or friends have. Dont waste time and brain energy on people or situation that doesn't provide a single god damn thing for you.

Move on, become a better version of yourself and go clap some cheeks.

Family and friends who knows about your situation usually will have nothing good to say about you. They just want to flex to you what you don't have compare to them so they can feel special. Dont give them that sadistic satisfaction.

You have a light at the end of the tunnel. Better than a lot of people. Save for a good lawyer and wait for your chance to shine.

INA 204(l): https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/eli...ivingrelatives

https://www.ilrc.org/sites/default/f...e_to_covid.pdf

So all in all parents dying won't ruin the petition nor would it prevent you from getting an I-601A if you need one.

Worst case scenario you might need a substitute sponsor (depends if you're eligible to file I-864W). If you do need an I-864 then the substitute sponsor "must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident; be at least 18 years old; and must be your spouse, parent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sibling, child, son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, or legal guardian".
