Its supposed to be awesome.

Im not much of a reader, but davinci code is really good too. You probably read it already tho.

You could volunteer at your local shelter, library, things like that.

Yes, Twilight is awesome. I'm on the second book already and I just started reading the series 2 days ago, LOL.

Anyway, since you said no romance.. Water for Elephants. I love that book.

^ Twilight is not awesome. It's written by a woman who is living our her teenage fantasies by writing schlocky supernatural romance crap about abusive, glittering vampires, and it's no better than the fanfiction the 13 year olds on fanfiction.net write.

Anyway, if you decide that you want some more books, here are a few..

Orhan Pamuk - Snow
Henry Miller - Tropic of Cancer
Paolo Coelho - The Witch of Portobello
Kurt Vonnegut - Timequake, A Man Without A Country
Neil Gaiman - American Gods
Neil Gaiman & Terry Prattchet - Good Omens

The Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley
Anything by Eckhart Tolle (good contemporary spiritual reading)
Anything by Kurt Vonnegut

4. brave new world

I'm happy a couple of my choices made it onto your list. If I can make a request, please read 1984 along with Brave New World. Like I said before (sort of), reading them together is almost necessary, because they complement each other so damn well.

A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS is also a great book... is by the same author as THE KITE RUNNER.. I've read both and I absolutely loved them.
Also OVERTHROW by Stephen Kinzer is a great book. It's about the U.S and its history with the Latin American countries.

Its crazy how I just finished school (this semester at least) and i'm totally DONE reading books, but then again for some reason I just really want to go to Barnes & Noble and buy a book about med school/mcat/or anything that has info that will help me better my chances at med school. Also, someone told me I should read a book called The Biology of Belief which is about how people's state of mind has a great influence on their overall health so it sounds pretty interesting to me. My neighbor told me to read some book about dreams and I'll probably check it out too, I need to ask her the title again though because I forgot it.
