I don't know man. I guess I am a bit greedy for wanting everyone, at least as much people as possible to benefit from an act or something.

It's going to be tough. I want the people who deserve to benefit from it benefit from it. By that I mean people who aren't in gangs, trafficking, molestors, stuff like that ya know what I mean brotha?

I do agree there should be some "tough" requirements to prevent people from just jumping/crossing/swimming/flying the border and get benefited from such an act while some of us have waited this long but that would just show how butthurt I would be and would understand those who have waited years for their visas

This definitely won't pass. How about letting the people that already have degrees become permanent residents after our 2 year permit is up. And for the people that don't, let them renew their permit and as soon as they finish their degree give them permanent residency. And the age cap be 32 for everyone, and came before 16and graduated high school. I think that's fair.

Yea there should because believe me people will try and do that. Eh I feel bad for them as well but it's not about the government being compassionate towards us they need to fix this country's immigration system.

There should be requirements but not requirements that divide us that bad

I qualify, but this is BS. Ppl who applied for DACA should qualify for the Dream Act. How can I enlist with a visa? Sigh Republicans are going backwards instead of forward.

Site note: Show me where the fucking line is, so I can gladly get in it.

I don't think so. I spent a lot of time poring over websites and reading through the law and I don't qualify. We even consulted several lawyers and they said that I didn't fit the requirements.

I think the problem was that the I-130 petition wasn't quite approved yet by the time I turned 21 or something.. I don't remember the exact details anymore.

Edit: Ah yes, here we go:

Quote:

Prior to CSPA, once a child turned 21 years of age, he or she “aged-out” and was no longer able to immigrate (or adjust status) along with his or her family. CSPA eliminates this problem by “freezing the age” of immediate relative children when their petitioning U.S. citizen parent submits a visa petition on their behalf; when a petitioning permanent resident parent naturalizes; or when a married son or daughter who has been petitioned by a U.S. citizen parent becomes divorced or widowed.
My mom was an LPR, then she became a USC just after I turned 21 so my age was "frozen" at 21+some. Thta's why I don't qualify under CSPA.

I like this since I qualify for this and I don't understand why people want free benefits from the government, if you want to be legalized then work for it. My pov
