I know how you feel man! Hopefully the application you filled out help your case out... And if u got help from an organization or lawyer you should contact them to inquire about your case. When u least expect it you'll get approved. I thought I would have to wait another month or two but thanks god I got it yesterday. Let's just hope a democrat gets elected for the next elections as president. And that the next time we renew it goes by faster. I'll submit my renewal for nice it hit 150 days before expiration. Good luck again and I'll keep you guys posted!

Well just received the E-Verify form for my new job and can't fill out the Authorization Expiration since I have not received it. Have any of you had any luck with showing your employers your Receipt for EAD renewal from USCIS? I have no idea what to do. This is my worst nightmare.

Not trying to get your hopes down but I believe you applied for renewal after your work permit expired? Like around February? People who applied around November and December of last year are still waiting for a response. Texas center is backlogged crazy and the wait time is about 5 to 6 months. I had to wait 6 months for my approval and others are still waiting. My guess would be that till August ull get a response. I just don't understand why u re aplied so late. But who knows meybe ull get a response sooner
Good luck

I applied right before my old EAD expired. I only made $750 a month at both of my jobs so saving money to pay for renewal on top of paying rent and other expenses was really difficult or I would have applied earlier trust me. Hopefully Texas sticks to the 3.5 month timeline they have on their website.
