Idk her situation but I highly doubt it. I've been waiting as long as her and my last renewal was approved in a month! I think it's something related to when we submitted our applications. Mine was received on feb 18

Today I called USCIS and it was such a downer -- they told me that NSC is only processing April 2nd applications (which I'm April 14th), and I can't submit a service request for DACA until they get to April 14th, which by my calculations will be around August 29th. Once you submit the SR then they can take 15-45 days to answer your request -- I expire on 9/10/16.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I have done everything else in the NILC Documents: info pass, case with NILC, SR for work authorization, emailed NSC, case with Ombudmsan, case with Congressman caseworker, but nothing has come out of any them. The most useful one was the info pass where there the officer told me she was going to personally call me when the officer assigned to my cases responded, which should be sometime next week...so we'll see, in any case I scheduled another info pass appointment for 8/31/16.

I'm just so sad, I know I need to be grateful, but it's embarrassing when all your managers know your situation and there's nothing I can do to help the situation.

Im afraid to lose my job (aka get replaced). Its hard enough to find a position in this job market and economy. Companies are in a bad position now. :/

I wasn't aware that this renewal problem was a widespread problem. I'm currently awaiting for my approval as well from the Nebraska Service center. My EAD expires on 9/19, and they recieved my app on 5/23. I did my biometrics on 7/14.

These previous posts have got me worried now. I've never had a lapse before, and have not accrued any unlawful presence yet. I'm worried that they're gonna approve my app too late. Here's to holding on hope.

I have been out of work since May, my company gave me a 30 leave of absence still nada, I spoke to my district manager and manager both wanted me back, but the sad thing it's August now. My DM told me he was going to re open my position whenever but per company policy I have to re apply all over again. Also another good news is working for a financial institution I can be re hire by my old job or any other place but I really loved my job, I was promoted twice and also got along well with my team members. It's been sad and lil embarrassing but it's life. Hopefully soon we won't have to deal with this situation anymore

I got a response to my service request today and it was essentially a canned response saying "give us time, and tell us when it gets past 60 days." Payroll is currently processing my final paycheck. Such a weird feeling, and it's definitely awkward airing my immigration issues out for my co-workers to see. Oh well, involuntary vacation, here I come!

Based on all the lay off stories, and leave of absence story, I'm so glad I work for a small company. I spoke with my boss and he was so cool. He told me not to sweat it. However, I need my work permit.
