Contacted Ombudsman yesterday, and sent an email to NILC today. I guess we'll see what happens.

Timeline

Sent: May 26th
Received: May 30th
Bio letter received: July 15th
Bio Appointment: August 3rd (freaking bio is done 2 months later)

And yes, it totally unfair to everyone who has applied in Feb, Mar, Apr, and May who have not been approved yet and later renewals are being approved. Someone needs to start a petition or something at this point...USCIS is the worst and I hope karma is real at this point...

Update: When i now enter my info on USCIS tracker, it says i was approved, EAD bring produced. So i whould get it by end of next week.

I Expire on 9/4/16
Case was received on 4/22/16
Bio's done around 5/10/16

uscis tracker says approved? but elis account says otherwise is that what you are trying to say?

So I decided to check my account just because, and I noticed that the I821D status is closed and shows approved, but the I765 shows in process still. I can recall the I765 also showing it was approved last time I checked. This makes me think I won't get my EAD anytime soon... :/

I submitted a request with the ombudsman in June and the Nebraska center told them my application was in line to be reviewed. I submitted a request for an update yesterday, and this is what the ombudsman responded (which is not helpful!! Today marks 6 months since USCIS received my application):

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email. We understand your concerns and the difficulties you must be facing. Please understand that we are actively working on your case and we have already initiated dialogue with USCIS about your application. Your case remains under review. We will provide you with an update as soon as we receive one from USCIS. Until we have a response from USCIS, there is no additional information that we can provide.

We thank you for your continued patience.

I just called USCIS. I spoke with a tier II rep who told me that on his screen it showed that a decision was imminent on my case within the next 3 or 4 business days.

My case status in my acct. still shows up as "application received," but he said they don't keep up with that website as well as they should and on his end it definitely showed that my case will be decided within the next few days. He said to call back by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week if USCIS still hadn't decided on my case.

Hopefully he is right. It's been 140 days since they received it. I exp. 9/04 and sent in my application 4/1

I hope that is true. I'm going to call them today to see if I can get any such details about my case. I sent mine on 4/6 and expired yesterday.

I have a similar time line

Looks like they're trying to rush all the 9/04 expiries. But seeing how USCIS fucked up a lot of the 8/17 ones I remain fairly skeptical
