We all really need to push for Congress to fix this asap. We need to be protected before next election. Imagine someone like Ted Cruz becoming President. The guy is worse than Trump. We would really be in deep shit with him as President.

Ahhhh, we can't think like that after Trump being President. People said same things about Trump.

We really cannot underestimate the possibility that an asshole might become President in 2024. Dems barely got control of senate and lost house seats even with all the crap trump has done.

I've been brainstorming. A lot of what was done during that push early in Trump's presidency was the way to go - getting our stories out there. I think especially focusing on the DREAMers on the frontlines helping fight COVID is a good strategy.

Fyi: I have direct email contact with immigration staffer at Senator Durbin's office. I sent email regarding plans to push for a deal asap.
