I would absolutely check with an immigration officer level 2 that the correct address has been applied to both the I-130 and I-485. I finally got it corrected recently and they faxed everything over.

Oh that sucks well at least that's all worked out. I havent sent my application yet but soon will. IRS is taking their sweet time sending my husband's tax records. Lol

Congrats! Just wait a little bit longer. At least your paper work is in progress.

For any NYC people, finally got my interview date, for March 15. My PD is March 22, so almost an exact year!

On the I-693, that would be a great idea as if it is a year old they will require an updated one. If you don't have one at the time of the interview, they will delay issuance of residency until it is finished.

I spoke too soon! I'm getting the notice by mail today, and the status online updated and says the interview date! So I'm definitely doing a new I693 now and bringing it to the interview. Hope they don't think im 'too' prepared, is that a thing? I self-filed

Congrats on the GC! huge relief to finally be done with it im sure. Did you bring a lot of new evidence to the interview? I was planning on bringing the originals of what we submitted, and a few new things, mostly bank statements, not sure what else new we can bring. our lives didnt change much in a year lol

About the bank stuff, so my husband tried to add me in his USAA bank account but he couldn't as it requires a permanent resident card. We already have a joint account because I added him to my bank but the money there is not a lot as I only work part time. Anyways, what should I do?? I'm planning on submitting my bank statement along with his USAA but unfortunately we couldn't do that. So, should he write a letter explaining that once I get a green card that he will add me to his account?? Should he send his bank statement?? I'm really not sure what to do.

I had the same issue but with only one bank account (chase) out of 3. For some reason she was able to add me to hers, and I was able to add her to one of mine, but not the other. I think it's just certain banks are more strict. I was annoyed though and transferred most of the $ to the ones that we share

No be super prepare as possible and try to find older statements that will actúally make it easier on the officer to approve it. I found an old credit card that me and my wife shared back in 2011 and took it in. I also brought in new statements we have from when we file till now. And make copy’s of the originals and get a new medical if it’s past a year because your going to get RFE guaranteed. I sent my medical with my AOS packet and it was gonna expire next month so got lucky.

May I ask what was the RFE about?

RFE was for I-130, they are asking for the same evidence that was already supplied.
