How soon should i expect a notice that they received and accepted it. I also sent a g1145 to be notified by text or email of an accepted application. My only experiences with being notified by uscis is from filing advance parole and answering RFE. I always get a email notice like tge next day after they received and accepted it. I know I'm being paranoid because it's only been 2 days, I just want to know it's been accepted. How long do they usually take to send email or text notifications that they have accepted your application. TIA for responding.

I actually never received a confirmation of it being received through text or email. Just got my biometrics in the mail about 3 weeks later. But I did apply right before the fee increase. So that may have had something to do with it.

Yeah, I meant 2018 (3/5/18 ). I know its going to take time. Six months to a year, hopefully the shorter time the better. I just want a confirmation that they accepted it and it's all good, I self filed, so I'm praying everything was correct and they accept it with no issues. Just want that text or email that they received it and the waiting process can begin.

Btw, how long did it take you to get your EAD card, my DACA EAD expires end of May, hoping, I can at least get that part fast I'll patiently wait for the actual green card to come through.
Anyone else can chime in how long it took for there EAD to be approved, after uscis received their AOS i765? TIA

and yes, that was essentially my goal. If things go south in this country, I'd at least have that going for me.

Thanks for responding. So it took a little over 90 days to get your EAD approved. I'm hoping I can get mines within that 90 day timeframe before my DACA EAD expires. 😊

Have any of your u guys been able to AOS with a permanent bar? I just found out I’m subject to it :( My lawyer said the only way to get rid of it is to go back to my birth country for 10 years...

what's the permanent bar for? most of us going through AOS would face a 10 year bar if we travelled outside the US, but it doesnt apply while we're here and applying for AOS. If you're EWI then you have to go through waiver process (601/601A) specifically to waive the bar

I’ve been searching and searching since I got home from my lawyer appointment and this explains pretty well what it is :
https://www.fickeymartinezlaw.com/20...s-ina-212a9ci/

I was brought in EWI when I was 3. We went back to Mexico when I was 8 for a Christmas trip and came back after a month—so that’s 2 illegal entries. From what I’m reading not even advanced parole could fix this :(
