hahahha!!! That clip was hilarious... and yep, that was totally my friend and I in Miami! You totally hit the nail on the head with this clip, we even met a very handsome Spanish guy in Miami, just like in the clip. Only the guy we met had a real Spanish accent, and was much cuter! Well, I'm glad my post has helped you pass the time by finding hilarious clips you can compare me to :))

I used to live in Orlando and moved to Miami when I turned 18 (3 yrs ago) I didn't know anyone here so here's what I learned, Miami is: high crime, lots of haitians cubans and south americans, african americans, europeans, a lot of rich people, a lot of poor people, a lot of homeless people, rude people, hot chicks, lil wayne, nice weather, drugs, lebron james & dwayne Wade, tall buildings, guns, mansions, ghetto, pitbull, parties, unemployment, sex, steroids, hurricanes, beach, food, banana republic, worst drivers in the country, . if you don't speak english you'll do even better.

I love Miami, there's a lot of good things and bad things about it.

I've heard crazy stories about Fl, its tough.... Its actually one of the toughest places to be in right now... I know sometimes we want to do things, we wish that we're free... Do NOT give in to impulse. Once you get everything sorted, you can do whatever you want; but for right now, you've gotta think strategically about what is ultimately best for you.

Did you say you graduated from TX? Do you know if a person can go to school, to get their B.S., in TX even if they graduated high school & got their AA from a different state? I'm really desperate for this info, cuz it means i can go back to school & get my bachelor's...

Yes, I graduated from a university in TX in 2007. Umm... the requirements to qualify for in-state tuition in TX are the following:

- Lived in Texas three years prior to high school graduation or obtaining a GED from Texas OR
- Resided in Texas the (full) year prior to enrollment in an institution of higher education
- Provide an affidavit stating intent to apply for Permanent Residency when eligible to do so

That would make be believe that as long as you have lived in TX for an entire year then you would be able to qualify for in-state tuition, although that is just my interpretation of how things are worded... but I'm always wrong, lol, so don't trust me, hah. You should call or e-mail a university here in TX with your question. Are you already living in TX or you would like to move here? It's funny how I'm so desperate to get out of this place yet many ppl. seem to want to come live here.

You made the move to Miami and three years later you are still there! So there is hope, lol. Most of the responses I have received say not to make the move out there so it's good to hear that it's possible :) Although I'm starting to think that my 1st impression of Miami was not a totally realistic one... as we drove through Florida and into Miami EVERYONE was so nice and friendly. That is one of the aspects I looovveed about Florida so much but you are the 3rd person to mention how rude people are. Next time I go I will keep my eyes open for such things and try my best not to be blinded by all the beautiful things I saw the first time.

I want to move to So Cal so badly. I mean don't get me wrong, Massachusetts is nice and all, but it's just wayyyyyyy to cold.

I was thinking about moving out there for my grad degree seeing as how I just finished my undergrad this year. I hate the Lakers though... damn :/
