^Same here. It's terrible, but it's not the final version so I'll reserve my final opinion on the bill until then.

I think the bill excited some, but disappointed many more people. You spend years working on your degree, planning your future after DREAM and what happens? Republicans put this in front of you and say "Well, kids...it's this or nothing." But, we've all got to remember that this is a process. ARMS may or may not pass. When it comes up for a vote, it may not even look like this. So, attacking one another isn't going to help our cause, either way.

If we want some sort of option for college graduates, it's up to US to let those who support DREAM Act in Congress know that they need to work towards a component for DREAMers with college degrees. Even if it's not permanent residence or citizenship, at least give us legal status of some sort so that we can go to school, work and be able to get out of the U.S. I'm sure other countries would welcome doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, nurses, etc.

BUT at the end of the day, if this is the only option on the table...this is the only option on the table. We either take it or leave it. It's an individual choice and if you're not willing to go this route, then don't judge those who would. And if you're someone that would go this route, remember that not everyone is mentally or physically able to serve in the military. Hell, it may not even work out for you. And then how will you feel?

So, all of this fighting and arguing isn't necessary. Because unless I missed something, we're all still undocumented, right?

To people who support this...most likely, you'll be gaining your citizenship right about the time when they lay out your casket.
