Re: New Details!!!!!!
damn hopefully the cutoff date is not 2001...I entered the country August 2002 :/
but can someone please be kind and explain Rubio's dream act to me? will we be able to get permanent residency or citizenship after a couple of years? or is it just giving us a legal visa that we can work in? |

For EWIs, it would be school records. |
Re: New Details!!!!!!
Well all I can say is its about time that some Republicans are waking up to the seriousness of what undocumented, young immigrants are facing. As for Rubio's proposal, talk is cheap and everything looks better on paper. All I'm saying is I'm not going to judge his ideas but at least he is reaching out and I STRONGLY COMMEND HIM FOR THAT. I just hope others follow his lead. So far, John Boehner MIGHT ( key word is might) actually support Rubio's ideas and a bill if he produces it. We'll see. At the end of the day, only GOD will decide the outcome. Keep hope alive.
