They lost me at 6-7 Million. I was skeptical at 2M people but I just don't see how that can get enough votes in the current political climate.

I think both know this and are fishing to strengthen their Hispanic base in their border state.

I hope I am wrong but I feel this is more for donations than a true effort to pass. I hate politicians like that

If they are using common sense, this includes ag and other essential workers. The economy will crash w/o them.
I just emailed Sens Murray and Cantwell, as well as Sen. Durbin. Like I said, if Reps are okay with gay marriage, legalizing marijuana, we can find votes for Dreamers.

"Though negotiations are underway on possible legislation, it’s unlikely that Congress addresses reforms this term as both chambers race to prioritize preventing a government shutdown and pass defense spending with three weeks left before the end of the year."

Your life must be a failure to think like that.

A few details from another source

-path to citizenship for 2 M Dreamers
-extends Title 42 at least 1 year; lifting subject to GAO review of migrant processing
-$25B+ for border security; pay raises for BP, regional processing centers, $ for asylum processing, expedited removal

Also:

-Dreamer must be here since 2018
-The plan is to attach this as an amendment to the omnibus

take it with a grain of salt, different sources are saying different things right now

The biggest challenge is finding 10 repub imo

Where is the source for this? It wasn't in the tweets you linked.

I am calling the time of death, 3:48 est on 12/05. Is it just me or every time there maybe a legit chance of any immigration dead passing, they find a way to kill it?

I thought if they stuck with Daca only, that was narrow enough to break the 30-year impasse.

Sorry, this one was from Univision:

https://www.univision.com/noticias/i...rma-migratoria

“Sinema ha sido muy efectiva en liderar negociaciones como esta”, aseguró una. Y agregó que, de llegar a un acuerdo, el proyecto de ley de inmigración será incluido como enmienda en uno de dos proyectos de ley clave que serán debatidos este mes: una ley de defensa que autoriza al Departamento de Defensa usar el dinero que el Congreso le ha otorgado, y el paquete completo de la ley de gastos, que se conoce como ‘ómnibus’.
