No surprise. I’ve maintained from Day 1…the real enemy of DACA recipients and the prospect of legalization of dreamers and hard working immigrants is the big time “immigrant advocate” groups. They will come out in droves opposing any such measure because that would eliminate their funding source in the future….They will come out demanding “immediate citizenship for all” because they know that will never pass..and will make them look like they are fighting hard for immigrants

Democrats were decimated. I cannot believe They lost to this guy. They have absolutely no bargaining power.

DACA will end. Trump will ask Democrats to make as many concessions as possible in exchange for legalization.

Nobody in D.C. listens to immigrant orgs, so who cares about UWD and its strategy. No point in arguing with each other. All we can do is watch the same shit show we have watched for years.

UWD with that wokeness has ruined them. Instead of seeking to make deals they just want to keep the funds rolling at our expense. They should pay out every other dollar to an undocumented individual.

For all this time, money, and effort what exactly do they have to show? What are the notable achievements? Do they even have any?

Trump could get the Hispanic vote on lock for generations but he'll listen to Bannon & Miller instead.

Miller is as racist as psychotic as they come. In contrast, I think Bannon only cares about consolidating power. If Republicans manage to pull off a permanent DACA solution, I do not think Bannon would oppose because, as you said, Hispanics would start to side with Republicans even more, effectively removing another voting block from opposition.
