They sent out my DACA approval letter on 9/9 and I didn't receive it til the 15 so i know there's a bit of lag.

DACA approval comes in regular mail, so takes 5-7 days. EAD is shipped priority, so max 2 days. However, it's anyone's guess as-to when they actually ship it.

So far in the thread, we see folks with following msgs:
update in ELIS as card produced/mailed, update in case status as card is being produced,...?

It's actually 3 days max.

I just got off the phone with a Tier II rep. I got an email on 9/15 stating that my EAD has been produced and will be shipped to the address I provided. However, I didn't get anything yet. So I called USCIS and was told that their system doesn't show as being shipped since the Tier II cannot see a tracking number. He told me to call back on Wednesday. I don't know if he was lying or my card hasn't been shipped.

What does your case status (or ELIS)say? I guess there is a difference between Card is being produced and will be mailed vs card has been mailed.
At least in past renewal cycles, Tier 2 can usually see the tracking # but everything is uncertain with this renewal.

Hey I am in the same boat. I think they're either overwhelmed and they haven't shipped them yet or they shipped them and they just didn't get a tracking number in the system. I've called them everyday, and finally the officer noticed it was weird so he told me to call back at the end of the week. I really hope i get it in the mail today.

My ELIS says card was produced and will be sent to address. My tracker says on sept 7 we approved your I-765.

Hope they don't come up with another message saying they are experiencing issues with card production and don't have a time line but working on it. Smh. Wonder why the messages are all different.

Why on earth would they not issue an i-765 approval notice? I have yet to receive my ead even though, according to ellis, it was mailed last wednesday. i was daca approval was 08/25/16 and i have yet to receive ead, got an email from elis on 09/16/16 saying its in production. And if i don't get it in the next 60 days to send another email... I've been out of work since 08/04/16

We produced your Permanent Resident (Green Card) Card and mailed it to the address you gave us.

9/12- elis said approved, no notifications. 9/15 - - case status said 9/14 started producing your card. Got a txt for case tracker update. Elis now says Uscis accepted... Blah
Got a couple of daca letters already.

Baah this never ends. I wish everify was good enough for employers to confirm electronically by ssn or a# so that we don't wait for physical cards.

No EAD here either. I was approved with the batch of 9/8. Status changed to Green Card produced on 9/14. I was really hoping I would get it today so I could go back to work.

Why are some people getting two approval letters? I only got one, for my I-821D.

I really hope you do! Upon checking the i-797 approval letter, I noticed that the service center on it is in Lincoln, Nebraska. However, the zipcode that it was mailed from is 05495, which is Williston, Vermont. So I really don't know who processed my case or where my EAD will ship out from.

ELIS shows " USCIS has accepted your application, petition, or request for processing"

A email response to my service I submitted a week ago states "According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records, this petition/application was approved and it has been sent to production. Your case will be processed in order based on the approval date. If you do not receive the document within 30 days please contact us again"

So I guess its being produced? But ELIS isnt updating the status since my approval on sept 8th :(

Did you get your 821d letters in mail , also did your 765 show approved initial ly in elis? What does the usual case tracker show now?

Yup i got my 821d approval letter in the mail.

765 status on elis did show approval initially on elis on the day i was daca approved

Usual case tracker shows my 765 app was recieved on sept 5th which is wrong, it was recieved on april. But tier 2 rep told me thats a glitch and that my 765 app was approved as of sept 12th and sent to production

So much misleading info

I765 was approved on 8/8, it says it was produced on 8/24 and I still haven't received the card or the approval notice.

wow i was daca approved 08/25/16 but it still doesn't show my card is being produced or has been approved.

I called but they said that the process for the service request or whatever can take another 30 days.. My EAD expires on 9/30 :(

Hi guys, found this thread so I can add my info.

I-821d and I-765 approved on 9/9/16 for 9/10/16 expiration date. Got I-821d approval letter 9/14/16 as the ELIS status for I-765 reverted back to "accepted and processing".

Got email today 9/19/16 saying my EAD was mailed and now ELIS says "USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided.".

Hopefully I'll get it this week!

Just got a call back from USCIS and got my tracking number for my EAD !!

It arrives on Wednesday 21st!! Yes thank God!!

I was approved on 9/7/16

My congressman's office followed up with me and told me that USCIS has sent my card to production but that there might be a problem with my picture(?!)

Uh....at least the main message is consistent??? Card in production for the time being.

LOL WHAT THE HECK. I guess. Plenty of pictures probably have issues then as I myself haven't gotten the "mailed" notification.

Shit is this the "glitch" that was mentioned to me? and if so wtf. cant they contact us and let us know to resend pics or do something... GODDAMN this department.

They do process a ton of apps, and it must be hard but is anything "glitch" proof with these guys? What bugs me is that they can't have a back-up process in ASC or local offices which can do something meaningful especially after an appl has already been approved.

Btw, has your case status tracker (outside ELIS) been updated to reflect anything ?

Nothing for me as well. However, two people who got approved on 9/8 were able to get tracking #'s today at around 2 pm. Eastern. I called earlier than that and no available tracking #. This tells me that ELIS updated our status on 9/15. However, the cards did not get sent until today. So, expect something by Wednesday.

I signed up for text updates from USPS (can't bother with checking the tracking number everyday) and just got a text saying my EAD will be delivered on Wednesday, September 21st as well.

Thank God it's actually en route.
