too scared to even use this AP. idk I dont wanna risk anything. Im so close getting the green card

Many used AP because they were EWI. This means they could adjust in USA without leaving if they married a USC.

Hello my fellow dreamers!!! After waiting for 1.5 years to receive the interview appointment, I finally had my immigration interview on 4/8/19, and was approved on the spot. It was super easy! I went from DACA to AOS through marriage. For those who are in the AOS process please don't lose sight of the final target and have faith that everything will go well! As long as you have been honest through this process then you don't need to fear anything! Thank you all for sharing your experiences and your advices. Good luck to you all!

Why did it take you a year and a half to get interview appointment?

Many Field Offices are backlogged due to the Trump 2017 EO on Immigration. It took me 1 year and about 4 months to get an interview.

That's actually fast for Houston.

Yeah reading other forums seems like Houston is super slow probably the slowest one in the country.

Long wait then. I got the EAD already.

Yup! There's people that have waited more than 2 years to just see an interview letter.

Update for my AOS
I wanted to update my timeline AOS
5/19 bio letter
6/7 biometrics
9/7 approval Ead letter
9/28 Ead received
03/22 Interview. Letter
Had my interview today and go approved for my i-130 and i-485 is pending due to a system failure with my fingerprints. He said not to worry as soon as that is settled he will approve the case.
I can’t believe it until I have physical card in hand long journey
Didn’t ask that many questions just how my wife and I met? Where did we get married? Where I proposed? W
The IO was very nice and I felt comfortable . He went through all the questions on I-485 and then he said we are moving forward with the case. That’s when he said he had an error transferring biometrics but I will be fine.
I want to thank this thread for all the info and experiences. I had my lawyer with me and she helped me set up everything to be ready.
