Re: Delayed EAD notifications/card 2016
I sent them an email when my DACA was pending. They forwarded to NSC right away but NSC responded after my DACA was approved (3 weeks later) which was useless -__-

Re: Delayed EAD notifications/card 2016
im going to try the ombudsman as well if i dont see any change by weds morning.
I saw that they received my pictures at 4am saturday - now to think how they will connect the dots and process my EAD with the new pictures....I did include a print out of the email (as suggested by another officer whom i called friday - who did not know what "the issue" was until i played dumb and read her the email) and i also included a cover letter explaining the contents, as well as writing my name, A number and receipt number on the back of the pictures. I am now out three weeks of pay, on my last week of leave. Worst part is informed my management and directors i had been approved two weeks ago.. and now they are wondering what is going on. |
Re: Delayed EAD notifications/card 2016
This picture issue is strange. Don't think they use the pictures we send with our application anyways. IMO, EAD isn't even produced at the service center, looks like there are consolidated locations which your approval is routed to. Mine was approved at NSC, but produced and mailed from Kansas City. It's probably just for record keeping. I include them as instructed to avoid any potential issues.
Also, my EAD card has the photo taken at the ASC biometrics appt. |

Re: Delayed EAD notifications/card 2016
LOL whoa whoa whoa, so they are having trouble with the pictures???? omfg...lol....so let me get this straight....they are going to put random applicants through a process to resend passport pictures???
Yea just what we need another process that will take who knows how many months to get a fucking picture on a card...and good luck getting them to update you after you send your passport picture..."Thank you for resending your passport pictures, please allow 45-60 days for photos to be glued onto card before submitting a Service Request" The plus side to this is that if this is the case for the majority of us still without EAD cards, then maybe the EAD dates match our DACA dates (as they are just waiting to glue photos or however the fuck they do it)...and some of you guys can probably go back to work if you can get through with HR somehow. |
Re: Delayed EAD notifications/card 2016
NILC said they would flag my case.
Btw I sent them my passport pics so let's hope something pans out from both of those actions. |
