I tried calling but they told me it's within normal processing times :( Anyone with a similar timeline have any updates? I'm getting super worried!

Or if you e gotten approved, how long did it take? Appreciate any input!

Similar timeline, sent mine April 7 bio on May 6, I'm impatiently waiting now

I think you guys should be more than fine. At least you got biometrics. Some of us have not even gotten that which is twice as nerve wrecking. Also, leave of absence is much better than termination without possibility for rehiring which is what I am looking at if I do not get renewal on time.

You should be more than fine :)

I'm on the same boat as many of you. I sent my renewal app 3/30/16, NOA 4/7/16, biometrics done on 4/28/16 and waiting for approval. I'm quickly approaching the 90 day mark from the time the NOA was mailed to me.

I've heard contacting your representative helps expedite the process. Has anyone had any luck doing that? (http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/)

EAD expires 8/17/16

I wonder why the renewals are taking so long. Mine also expires on 8/17. First time renewal came around 2.5 months. This one so far has hit the 3.5 mark.

Man, I haven't been on here in a while. It's so good to see some familiar names.

So my EAD expires on August 17, and I have a similar timeline as well...
-Sent my renewal packet (2nd renewal) on April 4
-USCIS received it on April 6
-Received biometrics notice on April 14 for appt on April 29
-Did biometrics early on April 20
-Nothing since then...

I've called them several times, reached out to the DHS ombudsman, but haven't seen anything come of it. They claim the renewal cases are taking approx 105 days to adjudicate (I believe I am at 91 days). I can identify with being worried, because I've got a pretty good career path going with the my current job and I don't want to lose it over this :(

I'm going to submit an inquiry online today, even though it may be to no avail at this point. Hoping to hear news of some approved renewals soon, everyone.

Welcome back! 105 day renewal isn't bad, especially if you're already on day 91. That means only two weeks left of waiting! We're on the same timeline, so I'm hoping to hear from them soon as well.

Let us know what you hear back after submitting your online inquiry.

Wait, I'm at day 106 from when I sent it in. 105 from when it was delivered and over 100 days when it was accepted. But these are not business days. Did they tell you business days or just days in general? And are those days from when they accepted your case or from when you did the bio or after the bio came out clean?
