Re: Comprehensive immigration reform
Let's ask the question before the other guy
What about Dreamers that aged out of 2012 DACA but would have qualified in 2014 Executive Action? |
Re: CNN Source: Trump would like to see compromise immigration bill
That's the reason why I'm an independent.

Re: CNN Source: Trump would like to see compromise immigration bill
Im a moderate at heart. The democratic party has been pandering to Sjws/regressives for so long already, its shifting the whole party to the left. The one thing I agree with Bernie Sanders (who is the most influential "Dem." right now) is immigration. Its not my party anymore, and if the Republicans take a softening on the tone to immigration, I will gladly switch my support.

Re: Comprehensive immigration reform
They would probably qualify as non dreamers but get that no citizenship path?

Re: Comprehensive immigration reform
I'd be really grateful. I feel like if you have been living here for 10, 20 years and paying taxes and been a law abiding resident, it would be great to have relief just having EADs is great. I'd be really thankful to Trump just like I was to Obama. But I will always be eternally grateful to Obama because without him, we wouldn't be in this situation to begin with.

I was always a republican with an alt-right heart.

Re: CNN Source: Trump would like to see compromise immigration bill
There isnt a CIR bill and you guys are singing praise. How about waiting until it happens, THEN cheer.
Nope? Time to ride trump nuts until ur red I guess. |
Re: CNN Source: Trump would like to see compromise immigration bill
The man promised what could be interpreted as universal health care as well. I understand you guys want to be happy about this, but Trump is clearly ignorant on the issues with the exception of Dreamers.
Im on the camp that the Dream Act should be brought up stand alone as it has in the past. |
Re: Comprehensive immigration reform
here we go... I think Democrats are going to get set-up here since this bill will also have ton of things they don't want to see pass, plus they will also not want to give Trump a win on immigration here. If they reject this, the Republicans will turn around and blame the Democrats for nothing getting done, so either way they probably think they can get a win out of this.
i'm still wondering how they will placate their right wing base if they try to do this though... I wonder if they are playing 5D chess and think that dumping part of their core now for more Hispanics/moderate voters is a path forward for the party? |
