They'll continue to kick the can down the road

Also, isn't this the same stuff they've been saying since last Wednesday

There's one thing that people need to desperately understand. Our enemy/obstacle is not Trump. It is Congress. Congress is the only damn person that can solve this problem. Trump will NOT be signing any bill that doesn't have enforcement measures also. Democrats need to drill this down their heads. They need to understand that we want them to compromise. To me there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Trump actually does care and like the Dreamers. I've known this from Day 1 and I absolutely knew that he wouldn't rescind DACA on Day 1 as promised.

Idk if this is the best thing to do. Ending it would have put huge pressure on congress and they could have acted quicker. Now Congress will end it. Six more months if this is true of freaking out.

This is actually AWESOME news. We should actually thank the Trump Admin for this if it is true. It is getting the ball rolling towards getting us from DACA recipients to PERMANENT LEGALIZATION or at least a path towards it. Congress will have to act. The Pres is signalling a willingness to sign a potential legalization bill! But he is definitely not going to sign anything which doesn't contain compromise (ex. wall funding/enforcement stuff). I've got no problem with all those as long as we get legalized.

Also, let's keep in mind that multiple outlets are reporting different outcomes every 4hrs. So we may just be looking at the different ideas circulating in Trump's head and not the final outcome. Yesterday, we were getting grandfathered. Today, we get 6 months. Tomorrow and then even Tuesday... who knows?

That's good cuz then we will have 6 months for everyone to do their renewals and also for Congress to act. If this is official, I am happy with this.
