Re: Renewing Daca Online

I submitted my renewal online on Sunday, Monday morning, it showed as approved effective 7/31/23. Today it shows as being reviewed. My current EAD expires on 10/25/23, so I have time, just wondering if this happened to anyone else.

Daca approved after one month. Online renewal. Super easy and fast. Highly suggest it

Hello,

Did not know where to put this and did not want to create a new thread.

I send my paper file.
The problem is I forgot to fill out forms I765ws part2.

Anyone done that before. I feel super bumb. I feel like it's gonna cost me another $500 to resubmit. Should I send them email let them know?

Thanks

Do we still need to do biometrics this time?

I think they’ve stopped reusing old biometrics. I read Reddit daca and some users report going to do theirs

How long does it normally take for them to provide the appointment letter for biometrics from the time of submission?

Depends on the service center I guess. Just keep on top of it - check your mail, sign up for USPS's informed delivery (where they show you scans of incoming mail), get your receipt numbers, and check USCIS's site every so often.

I sent in AOS lately and it took them 7 weeks to charge my credit card and issue me receipt notices. Yeah USCIS is a clusterfuck that got itself stuck into a situation where applications are already crazy expensive, they got sued when they tried to hike the prices and get rid of free EAD/AP for AOS, got sued, and play chicken with furloughs every time budget negotiations start. They really need to do some cost cutting and migrate everything to online submissions, not just the couple of forms they do right now.

They should also definitely put in some kind of automatic extensions for DACA because those 180 days would also afford them leeway.
