Dudes and Dudets, I just logged back in today since mid July and I was reading all about this Infopass thing and Obundman that. You guys need to chill and relax like me. I applied in June did my biometrics on early July and just forgot about my renewal. I log in today and was reminded to check my status and what do you know? My renewal was approved on August 18.

You guys need to chill.

So did any of you guys went on earlier than your actual biometrics apt?
I did that on my initial app, but idk if I should do it again on my renewal. But I did get an apt for Sept.

I did a walk-in for my initial application, but I think I will wait until my appointment date this time around. That's mostly because I don't want to "lose" too much time on my new EAD.

Got a notification that my EAD was mailed today. Says I should receive it within 30 days. I believe last time it was different...they gave me a tracking number and I received in 2/3 days.

Today I received I-797 notice of action, notifying me that I'm deferred until 2016 (my I-821D approval letter), and I also got notified that my EAD was mailed out.

I just received a letter stating that my DACA will expire next month and that I should renew. I was already approved and my app was sent out in June...I guess they mail this out to everyone.

My biometrics were on August 6th which I took care of, but yesterday I got a letter to complete the biometrics again on September 2nd. I called the 800 number on the appointment letter and they said there might be a glitch so I need to go do them again. Today I walked in to the application support center and showed them my receipt from August 6th and the new letter. They checked their system and said everything is fine they have me in the system from August 6th. They signed the new letter stating no need to complete the fingerprints again. I would just walk in and see what they say. I hope this helps!
