A rep just told me that IOE renewal cases now take six months and that it was a new rule.

It could also be that the California Service Center has not been working on renewals for a while. Anyways, I'm losing my mind because I need to work to pay my tuition.
Another question, how do I know when my DACA is approved? The last update I got was on April 21st saying that my case (I821D)was received at their Integrated Operation Env.

Mine was last updated April 21st as well, at the California service center. I have yet to hear back from them.

Which service center does your case belong to?

I think that's BS. I called 4 times and every rep told me a different story. I think they really don't know.

It would explain why a case inquiry might not be possible sometimes. I have noticed some whose case is outside the regular timeline could not submit an inquiry because their case was considered within the "nominal" timeline according to the USCIS website.

This is insane...mine still has sometime to go, but reading these has been torturous. When does urs expire?

I'll call later in the afternoon. I'm also going to schedule an info pass but who knows what can they do. I hope my case gets approved before I even go to the info pass.

My suggestion about inquiries.....don't do it unless it is after 105 days after they have received your case via confirmation on your receipt. USCIS might have limited resources and having to investigate inquiries could cause further delay.

If over 105 days, file with the service center directly......not through the 1800 number or via infopass.
