I'm just pointing out that not all AOS are created the same. immediate family (ie. married or USC's parents) have more rights - namely for overstays. For all other adjustments you need 245i

IR AoS is definitely easier and straight forward.

Adult over 21+ like you can still AoS here without leaving and without 245i but you need to have I-601A approved and that will not trigger a 3/10 ban if you leave USA.

Yes, it is possible. I am a DACA recipient and currently pending i 485 based on EB3. The company I worked since getting DACA decided to sponsor me, so I was able to obtain LC, i-140, then i 485 process. Got an interview scheduled next friday. Hopefully everything will go smooth.

Good luck on your interview!

How long did it take for you to get an interview scheduled after submitting your i 485? I'm also going through EB-3 based on 245i through my employer and am about to submit my i-485 within the next couple weeks. I w0uld also love to hear your interview experience once you're done!

I submitted i 485 and i 140 concurrently with premium processing in July 2017. Then received RFE for Supplement J on January 2018. I think it really depends on how busy your local office is. Since I live in Southern California, it seems like it took longer than other areas for the interview to be scheduled. Good luck with your process!

Yes I am a grandfathered derivative since my father is principal. Interview process was very typical employment based interview style (15-20 min long) that I've read in many forums. In the end, officer asked if I had any more proof documents regarding 245 i. I said No. The status is now "under review".

I think it's more of their standard procedure to ask if the applicant has additional documents to support their case.
