Re: 8 months club
Hopefully, did you file an eRequest with your ombudsman request as well? I did two of them, I also emailed the Vermont service center directly, I think that helped. You can try sending emails to [email protected] and [email protected] Include your name, date application was filed, receipt numbers, and state what detriment they delay is having on you. You may also want to mention any eRequest you filed with USCIS and emphasize how overdue your application is. Send these emails as you approach or pass the 7 month mark.

Re: 8 months club
Hi I'm new here on this forum. I am to reaching the eight month of waiting for an approval. But I have seen that some of you have contact Ombudsman office. What exactly is the Ombudsman office? How do I get in contact with them? I just filed a service request last thursday and have not heard anything back. This would be my second request that I have sent.

Re: 8 months club
The ombudsman office assist you when your case goes into overtime lol. When you file a regular eRequest sometimes they just do a regular check in their computers and reply to you. However, with the ombudsman office they have to actually take your physical folder and determine the status. You can file a request here https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspx
