My EAD expires on 11/27/2018. Is it possible to send my application in early? I'm worried they may stop accepting applications in the future.

I expire in December, 2018. I sent my request for renewal on 1/26 and my biometric appt is already scheduled. I would send it asap. Do it before 3/5.
