SB1070 signed into law
Governor Jan Brewer signed Arizona's SB1070 bill into law on Friday.
I really do feel for our friends there. Hopefully good will come out of this later. |
Re: SB1070 signed into law
SHE SIGNED IT! What a bitch!!!!!

Re: SB1070 signed into law
Just watched it.
There will be outcry. Strong pressure now on CIR to be introduced. |
Re: SB1070 signed into law
forget this law. now focus on DREAM. don't you dare to spend more time defeating this law than fighting for DREAM. they got something, is now our turn.

Re: SB1070 signed into law
You guys are mad...? I'm happy. This will trigger immigration reform in which laws like this will be nullified later on.
So cheer up and get ready for an epic battle. |

Anyway, it will still take 3 months before it could be implemented. I hope this gets to court before then. |
Re: SB1070 signed into law
I went to take a nap and come back to find out she signed it. Can't say I'm surprised, especially since Obama came out urging for immigration reform...
I'm disgusted, but not shocked. |
Re: SB1070 signed into law
O M Gawd! All I'm going to say is.... GET THE FUCK OUT OF ARIZONA PEOPLE!

Re: SB1070 signed into law

Re: SB1070 signed into law
On a totally shallow note, what's with the uglies in Arizona? You have McCain growing a mini-me on the side of his rosacea-laden mug, and now this cunt who looks like Herbert in drag —you know, that old pervert dude from family guy.

Re: SB1070 signed into law
White People are Damn Racist!!!!!!!
All I SEE IS WHITE PEOPLE! |
Re: SB1070 signed into law
Let us hope something good comes from this. The law isn't active until 90 days after the Governor has signed it.
|
Re: SB1070 signed into law
We will benefit from this law to pass a urgent bill at the federal lesislation level. We also now have Obama getting into all this.

so how can this law be nullified?

Re: SB1070 signed into law
This is crazy, if I was living in Arizona I would be probably looking to get the hell out of that state immediately. I really feel sorry for anyone here living in Arizona.
The good thing that will come out this is that there will be a lot more focus on the CIR than ever before. Now Obama and other politicans will finally see that CIR cannot wait any longer. Things are getting dead serious. |
Re: SB1070 signed into law
If they can pass a bill like this they can pass Dream Act at a state level too.

Re: SB1070 signed into law
please don't let your emotions cloud your opinions about the US or white people. We would be just as bad as those closed minded people who are doing such stupid stuff.

I just know that we can't let this small window of opportunity pass us by. It may not open up again for a very long time. Also LOL at the Family Guy comparison. Here is a picture of her with her natural hair. (I think.) http://i.ytimg.com/vi/4Q4Wm_QujW4/0.jpg |

On an other note, I am very disappointed in the Governor--may God be with her because the immigrant community and the principals of America are not. |
Re: SB1070 signed into law
Como dicen en espanol, no hay mal que por bien no venga, there is no harm that good will come, brain fried, but you get the point.
|
Re: SB1070 signed into law
Just what we needed. Now on to CIR with the Dream Act tagging along.

It is for this reason that the courts will have to strike the law down as unconstitutional. The good thing is that because of all the lawsuits this will inevitably cause, Arizona--i.e., the politicians and the people who supported the bill in the public--will have to pay money up the ass that they otherwise wouldn't have to waste. It will serve Arizona right. |
