Obama's PR campaign is doing its best to brainwash most Hispanic voters and Immigrants with the BIGGEST LIE that he is FOR CIR or the Dream Act but then again his administration has deported the most out of all the previous administrations.

The Dream Act was short 5 votes and needed 5 Democrats to vote but he didn't take action because in the end it doesn't benefit him. Obama PR campaign will do their best to try to convince people he is fair and balance with immigration, BULLSHIT!

Their will be ads next year targeting Hispanics about immigration and how Republicans will do their best to deport ALL immigrants, but reality, his administration is doing all the deporting. Talk about the BEST CAMPAIGN slogan "YES WE CAN", yes they did and can still deport and fool people with false media news coverage and newspaper articles.

So, next time people vote, they should think twice.

Politicians truly are now running for there seat there whole term and will do or say anything to keep it. Its disappointing because I love political science especially during periods in prior history were politicians made tough decisions on extremely difficult issue about freedom. Similar to the founders there families were being killed by the British they all had different religious views and political ideologue from different parts of Europe. But under all that pressure and lets call it all being separated by party somehow the came up with the constitution that we have followed for 250 years. Then you look at Obama and hell any politician there is not a leader one something has to change grid lock has been going on for almost 13 years.

Honestly though at least Bush tried to pass CIR. We have to give the man credit for trying. Regardless of whether his efforts were genuine or not, he still put a lot more effort into immigration reform than Obama is.

McCain , Graham, Bush went balls out to get that CIR bill done that was turned down by Democrats. See what the outcome is republicans ran away from Bush, McCain was nearly thrown out of office by his voters now everyone hammers him because he had to change direction to keep his job, Graham almost got thrown out of office and has now turned completely around on the issue to almost being vigilant as he gets hammered on this site all the time. Then people on here act like politicians are going to throw themselves into this debate again and lose there job just like that. All politicians goal is to keep there office. Has to be taken courts the only way heavy immigration restrictions , secure border whatever that means its a moving target before the country would consider passing anything. Just think if the democrats would of not stopped that CIR bill at were we would be now.

well polls show that he has a 50% approval rating, and with an unemployment rate of 9.4, that's pretty damn high. so i do think he has a lot of political capital to use still.

the guy really did a lot his first 2 years in office, i heard somewhere that he already accomplished 80% of what he said he wanted to do when he was running for president...sad that clearly immigration is not one of his top priorities.

We have added 8 trillion dollars to the deficit since Obama has been in office. All these cuts and immigration laws states are trying to get passes is to cut there budget cause they are broke. States depend on Federal money to pay a percentage of there bills from education to prison that is not there anymore. An unemployment rate of 9.4% is devastating having 40 million Americans drawing unemployment for up to three years is staggering. Seeing that number of 40 million does not include people that have given up looking for a job or have run out of benefits means that number is higher. Not counting illegals that have lost there job because they are not qualified to get benefits can you imagine what the true number it is to the proportion now that we can not fix this economy for years. Every citizen in this country now owes roughly 20,000 dollars to get the debt paid off. Sorry for running on but presidents are elected on one thing the economy and jobs. So he is gone what we need is some kind of middle of the road president that will come in and do nothing but work on the economy everything is better when the economy is good even immigration laws being passed.

I second that. You have to blame those Republicans and the 5 conservative democrats. We will have a serious chance of achieving something big with the DA in 2013 if the pendulum swings in our direction in the 2012 elections. The shooting of Gabrielle Giffords (an Arizona Democrat) should tell you something. Based on what I've read up on it, it was about her stance on immigration and health care reform. She was a democrat who resided in a very conservative voting district and competed against a tea-party endorsed candidate on election day.

he took office when the economy is in shambles.he's tackling the economy, and that's his priority. stop thinking of yourselves for ones. don't you have family members who are legal and benefitting from his economic agenda? if i was an american citizen i would want my president to work the economy before going ahead with immigration reform.

Hold your horses partner. Ireland, Sweden and other european nations weren't formed from immigrants hailing from all corners of this planet. You can't really compare US and Europe in that retrospect. You can't blame them for hypocricy by that token. True hypocrites are those that are against immigration in a nation built on immigration, that try to trace bloodlines in order to decide who is illegal and who isn't and refuse to admit that by that token everyone beside native Americans is truly illegal.

Let's see what happened since Obama took office. Almost doubled national debt, sent 35,000 more troops into Afghanistan shortly before winning the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, the economy is in shambles and he only made it worse, I love how one guy said its his top priority when EVERYTHING he does just makes it worse and his philosophy is spend spend spend, passed the health care reform which does nothing good for anyone but insurance companies. What's one good thing he has done that actually matters?

Obama has made history and his impact will reach far into the future whether he is elected for a second term or not. Sarah Palin doesn't appeal to anyone but the Republicans. She's not qualified to lead and she lacks experience. The damages she'd do to the US foreign relations would be irreparable.

Here are a few things to consider.

First, how did Obama get elected to begin with? We still have a democracy in this country so if his ideas and his platform were that unpopular shouldn't he have lost in the first place? Was the biggest factor in his election the damage that had been done by his predecessors or was it the people's faith in his ability to effect change? Consider his resume before you answer that question.

Second, he is just ONE man. Exactly how much influence do you think he has? Let me say this differently. There is no way he could have gotten where he is by himself. The people who helped him acquire that position have agendas.

Do this. Stop looking at the person in that office and try just looking at the office itself. The government in this country wasn't set up to be a dictatorship. Regardless of how much someone may want to blame him for the current state of things everyone should stop making excuses and fess up to the fact that the real problem is greed, waste, lack of pride in the craftsmanship, and losing sight of the original ideas that this nation was founded on.

Someone needs to tell the executives of these big companies that doing something cheaper ISN''T the same thing as doing it better. This is simple math, when they lay somebody off that's one less person that's going to be buying, using, and endorsing their products! Plus, when banks deliberately make bad financial decisions it makes everybody's money worthless!

In addition, anyone who thinks they can do a better job is free to put their name on the ballot next time! :) Good luck!
