Can someone ask about the two last names appearing on the EAD card and if there is any manner to change it? It's really bothering me and I'm currently on break at work...

can someone Spanish ask about the risks of traveling abroad via advanc eparole and what category we would be considered as for EAD? (new category called DACA perhaps)?

So pretty much if you turn 31 after your two year permit, you cannot re apply because you do not meet the criteria.... am I correct??

In one of the pages it states that you can still apply after turning 31.

Where do you get this? It's in the USCIS guidelines released August 14th. <headdesk>

They said their target time for the whole DACA process is 6 months. Depending on the number of cases received, it may be longer. But that they're prepared to handle the load.

USCIS stated that once someone turns 31 and renews their permit they will handle it accordingly case by case scenario. Either way I'll let you guys know what happens as im 31 ;P

It will be just like anyone renewing, no matter their age -- everyone will be case by case. If you get a criminal record in between renewals, chances are high they won't renew your DACA.

Can I extend the period of deferred action in my case?
Yes. Unless terminated, individuals whose case is deferred pursuant to the consideration of deferred action for childhood arrivals process will not be placed into removal proceedings or removed from the United States for a period of two years. You may request consideration for an extension of that period of deferred action. As long as you were not above the age of 30 on June 15, 2012, you may request a renewal after turning 31. Your request for an extension will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
we should be okay

You have to understand that the Lamar Smith crowd is tuning in, they can't give those guys any fire power to put on Fox News.

"El disclaimer de la noche, no podemos contestar preguntas individuales"

This lady is pissing me off. Whats the point of having a conference call if all she is doing is avoiding very important questions and other questions she directs people to the website. Are you serious?

I hated that annoying lady asking 3 questions over the phone. They should screen calls based on how annoying people are and if question is important.

Don't worry. I think this conference call is a waste of time. The lady is avoiding all important questions and directing the people to the website.
