You forgot moderate

I am a moderate. If you check some post, in some I sound like on the left and others way over the right, specially while ranting. Rating is a talent that only true conservatives can call their own. In my school they all voted of a huge gym that is goint to cost like 40 million dollars out of students pockets. Every body was claiming that it was what students wanted. I oposed because it was going to make it harder for low income students to be in school. Then fees increased and everybody complained. I didn't it because if the school needs the money there is nothing left but to face the music. It was weir, they are willing to pay 40 million on a gym but they do not want to pay for computers and extra classes. That is what pisses me off about people. They declare themselves liberal or conservative without actully looking at the damn core values that make that paradimg work. Our enemy often call itseft patriot but their rants usually sound like bitter socialism and class conflict than actual democracy. Rant. Rant. If I was not a moderate, I would be shaven head communist, smoking my cigar and calling Fidel on my secret phone.

I held a hammer and sickle during immigration demos.

h3wlett 09-29-2007 12:01 PM

Don't kid yourselves people.

Until DREAM passes, we are NOT any of the above.

lutier2008 09-29-2007 12:07 PM

I'm none of those-

I am a libertarian - No right, no left. Secular minimal federal government. No corporate welfare and no welfare. Free markets. Division of state and commerce.

- Start to implement changes in education, social services, military, healthcare to move to a full privatized system.

- End Pharmaceutical and Healthcare insurance mafia, not thru government regulated healthcare but having people to deal directly with doctors, not insurance mafia.Slowly move to private system.

- Tie education money to students themselves to give them a choice in which school to go to, So public schools HAVE to compete and become better. Competition will force Schools become better. Once Schools are better, start giving property tax credits to homeowners who opt to pay their children's education. Start to privatize the system.

- Absolutely stop the initiation of force against other sovereign countries. The military should be to defend the country in cases of invasion.

- Personal freedom among consenting adults. As long as sexual conducts are voluntary and consensual, it's ok.

- Absolute unrestricted free markets. Capitalism with Voluntary Solidarity as one of its pillars. That's why Im a strong believer in www.kiva.org
Like Reagan said "The best social program is a job"

juanybear17 09-29-2007 12:42 PM

What are you talking about, Ranters rule the world. There are powerful people but no one can deny the power of a well though honest rant.

Oh, Juan, ranting non stop in this site has teached me that if I say "I am an alien, no, really I cam from Jupiter" sooner or later someone from Jupiter is going to come up and say "no way! I am from Jupiter too, what part of Jupiter are you from?"
yea, for ranters from Jupiter!

J6 09-29-2007 01:32 PM

As I've mentioned before I also would be a Libertarian. If I could I'd vote Republican though just because the Libertarian party doesn't have a chance.

erikasxoxo 09-29-2007 03:35 PM

Mh... No fascists yet... LOL

I picked Democrat, but it doesn't really matter since I shall be taking over the world in 15 years... so no need for political parties!!!

Like Reagan said "The best social program is a job"

economically the libertarian philosophy would be catastrophic.
capitalism relishes on the exploitation of workers and the struggle for power and money 'greed'
many libertarians this is a good things. greed makes us want to be better then the other. in e sense making better items. better ideas more money helping humanity.
however this all comes with great suffering towards 90% of the people who use these gains to take advantage
they say money will be the judge. if one doesn't like a product simply stop buying it. you dont like a company simply stop buying from them/ but what a free market essentially does is close down the door for smaller companies to even open their doors. even if they have great ideas. the powerfull will ALWays remain on top.

in a aspect of social life libertarians are ok.
gov should stay out of our lifes

but big corporations should not have us as their slaves in a way a free market will eventually have it.

i know many people disagree with marxist idea. and whatnot.
however if you read his book Kapital.
you can get alot of really interesting points about capitalism.
which his book is mainly about. this thing is a freaking encyclopedia that took years and year to write.
yeah i forgot who else wrote something about how capitalism is great. and if you are poor means you are lazy.

anyways... lol

i forgot libertarians . my bad

alex1234 09-29-2007 05:52 PM

I agree with a lot of stuff libertarians stand for, but there are some that i dont that's why chose the Green Party.

crassrock 09-29-2007 06:13 PM

Come on, J6, Republicans are the reason Dream is moving slowly. Why don't you just wait till they evolve into something better to vote for them? That's not gonna happen soon. I'd just vote for the party that will do something good for the people, not block legislation and refuse to move forward with important things.

I don't think anybody can fit into any party completely. I support high economic liberalism and mild/moderate social conservatism. I think that just because we're all in the same boat here doesn't mean we have to agree on the political front. My political views are not driven by my status in this country, they're based on my beliefs as a person. I have to admit thought that I am displeased with the Republican party when it comes to their apparent dismissal of that party's founding principles.

Thank you.

Not supporting people who share your ideals [for the most part] just because of the fact that you are illegal is just not right. What have the Dems done? Absolutely nothing. They cave into the Republicans demands ALL THE TIME. I'd rather support a party that has that kind of power than a party that cowers in the corner.

BUT, that's just me. ;)

Yeah we're definitely gonna meet in person one day. :P

Hopeful is right, supporting a party just because of your status is like being a corrupt politician listening to special interest groups. We shouldn't do that.

PS I may be a stalker. HAHAHAHA :|

peticsu 09-30-2007 01:11 AM
