E-Request Response Today
 

So i did a e-request on August 20th ....
My application is going on 7 months...
the respond i got was that its " pending adjudication"
what does that mean.....

It's just another way to say "keep waiting." Don't worry it seems like USCIS creates random messages for e-request they vary from "Pending adjudication", "waiting for FBI background check", "processing time still within time frame" blah blah.......i got the same response for my E-request!

It never hurts to try!! people have done many e-request and emails. Many have not been successful ....I myself have done 2 e-request and i get the same random response. It will be a year in 3 months for me....sometimes I feel that my approval will never come, it's so close yet so far away!!...The next step for me is to e-mail the director and my congress person

meaning pending a decision , or waiting to be looked at

My last e-request I did which in July I got the same response that my I821D is "Pending Adjudication" and I'm already over 1 year of waiting and still no news yet hopefully soon.

I did erequest on the 23rd and response was " Active case processing" and i should be expecting me something in the mail within 30days.

Hi, I have a question Im hoping you guys can assist me with... I just hit my 6 month mark and havent received nothing regarding approval. Can you guys tell me if its better to do an e-request throgh email or by phone.Help

I did online and got response back through email on yesterday. Not sure how the phone works but i think if you do with phone you will get response back in the mail rather than email.

But did you have any criminal records? People who have had some type of trouble with the law take longer in those stupid background checks.

thanxs I called today and they said,that " ALL applicants that applied in march are being processed at this moment" and that i would get a letter in a week. I don't know how true this might be but... I'm going to wait a week and see what happens.

That means that unless you have a 'common' name, there should have been no problems with the background checks. Let's see what they tell you.
