Are the two passport photos actually necessary? I did it last time but I'm not sure it actually helped with anything..

The adjudicator can fall in love with your looks aiding in a faster approval.

G33k is correct. I was approved in 35 days, obviously because of my looks.

Packet looks similar to yours except I legally changed my name so I included the change of name form and I didn't include the letter with the barcode rather the Notice of Action and my I-94. So 3 extra pages than required.

What about the letter of I-797 (the one that official states they granted you DACA)?

I didn't include it. Only the I-797 for my work authorization.

Which one is the I-797 for work authorization? The biometric appointment date letter we received?

No. The letters are printed on fancy paper. You received two: One for your deferred action and the other for your work authorization. It should look something like the sample below except under case type it should say I-765.

I don't have one for I-765 (work authorization). I only received one for I-821D (DACA). You sure we received one for I-765? I did get my EAD.

Yes, you should have received two, because you submitted two applications.

Anyways, USCIS isn't requesting them.

For form I-765, question 11, for "Results (granted or denied - attach all documentation)" seems to be requiring you to do so.

Is weird I do not have my work authorization letter...I only received my DACA approval letter. I guess I will just send them a copy of my DACA approval letter (I'm assuming with the copy of my EAD should be suffice).

The front and back copy of your EAD should be enough documentation to prove you were granted. And yeah I also only got one of those "fancy" approval letters. For my DACA, my EAD just came attached to a paper stating my A# and barcodes and stuff.

I thought it was the paper that literally came with the EAD card. You know, the paper where the card was glued to. That paper has 3 bar codes. I dint know it was this paper.

Do you staple the i-821d together since its more than 1 page or just use paper clips?

Exactly! That paper is called "mailer" and I am making a copy of that paper and attaching it to my renewal packet.

PLEASE DO NOT STAPLE!!

Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.

I wrote my full name, DOB, and A-Number. Do not write anything on the back.

You can get your A-Number from the EAD mailer (the one with the bar codes).

I don't think you need to be that formal with this renewal process compared to the initial application. All they want is the required info and the check/money order for $465 it is I believe.

Edit: This was meant to be for the cover letter thread.

Is anyone planning to send a yearly summary of a credit card statement (or similar) just incase? They dont seem to ask about proving continued presence but would suck to get an RFE about it.

Nope. They are not asking for any evidence. The only documentation they are pretty requiring is a copy of your EAD.

I need help!! I just saw that there's a thread with the question that I'm about to ask but no one seems to be answering (well, it did get one reply but I just want to be sure).

Question # 11 on i765 "Which USCIS office?"

Which address did you guys put? The lockbox address you mailed your DACA package to or the one where your EAD was mailed from?

No. Put the Service Center from where you received your DACA/EAD. It's on the Notice of Action you received.

Do we need to include any calculations/supporting documentation for I-765ws?

It asks for annual income, annual expenses, and assets, but I don't know if I included any spreadsheets for that last time.

On the I-765WS what do you have to put for assets? I remember this form being so abstract last time, I forget what the best thing to do is.
