They might ask you for a co-signer or give you high interest rates. If you have someone you trust with credit you can buy it under your name. My pops car is under my wife's name. My older bro in law put his name on my younger bro in laws car too to get the 0% interest rate.

Probably. Your interest rate would be insanely high though at something like 15%. But why buy a new car? If you have 50%, that's like what, $15,000? You can buy a 4 year old car with that cash.

I have a 2011 Lexus IS250 with leather interior and its really smooth drive. I also have a 2012 Accord. Its not as smooth as the Lexus. The Accord has more ground noise.

Used Camry, Accord, Civic, Rav4, CRV, Corrolla, etc. Your maintenance cost will be far lower than a mustang and your resell value will be higher. Of course if you're trying to pick up dumb High School girls who actually think these things matter, the Mustang might work better.

Mustangs are nice (my dream car) but when you get a new one and by the time you finish paying for it. Its value goes insanely down.

Hyundai is shit. When they're new they look like a Honda or Toyota but I've seen them break down at 70K miles. Supposedly, quality is better now, but resell value on them is also shit.

They know they have a serious reputation problem and they've been aggressively trying to fight it but I'm kind of old school with cars and drive them mostly until they die and 100k is nothing to me. I kind of think of them as the Payless of the car companies. Currently I have 220k miles and going. Also, part of that is because I'm not sure how hard it would be to buy another car given certain problems with you know what, but overall, all my cars have been driven until they reached a point where they had to be junked or got wrecked beyond repair.

I disagree. I bought a brand new Civic less than a year ago, and I can't wait till I can get rid of it. I might actually get a new car before it reaches one year if my trip to the service department doesn't fix the problems I'm experiencing.

sorry star, late reply. i purchased a certified pre-owned 2012 lexus IS350 from the dealer with NO credit history. i also put 50% down. I first got an approved loan from my company's credit union. I didn't need a cosigner because they knew how much my down payment would be and they knew i had reliable income from my employer. They take all of these things into account when you're applying for a loan. Also if you have kids, pay rent, etc etc. If you are part of a credit union, do this! or else your interest rate will be significantly high. My interest from the credit union loan was only about 6.19%, compared to if i had gone with the dealer it would have be a whopping 20%!! Also, with my credit union I am able to refinance in 12 months, once i have built credit through paying off my loan, and can drop my interest to their lowest guarantee of 1.25%.

Anyways, the point is yes you can buy a car with no credit, however your interest will break your wallet unless you can go to a credit union or get a cosigner (like others have mentioned).

As for the mustang, that wouldn't be my first choice but if you really like it go for it! I, for one, would never buy a brand new vehicle. And i will probably stick to japanese models for reliability and resale value. Good luck!

Get what you want and not what other people thinks. You are going to be paying for it and you don't want to be paying for something you will regret. Stay away from buy here pay here dealerships.
I have a 05 mustang gt and I absolutely love it. The sexy exhaust sound. I can't wait to get a 2015-2016. Resale value doesn't drop as much as people makes it to be. I can probably sell my car for 12k right now. I've seen older models sell for 5-6k.

Why get a Lexus when you can get a mustang? Yea my car has like 90k miles, great condition and it's the premium mustang gt. Plus you can add so many mods to a mustang to personalize it.

Lol what? Aside from oil changes and a battery I've never done anything to my mustangs. My brother's mustang had like 200k miles. Anything man made is prone to failure, but if you take care of them they will last a lot longer. Unfortunately most people gets mustangs to do crazy stuff. I drive my car like a sane person and every once in a full moon do a burnout. OP, get your mustang and put a nice exhaust set up.
