MDC denied Tuition waiver.

Miami dade college just denied me the out-of-state tuition waiver because my DACA expires mid-term :( 9/27
although i told them Im in renewal process they dont care since it has to be done before the Fall term starts.

This sucks :(

i dont qualify for the other tuition waiver (House Bill 851 )which says
3 years HS florida, have graduated and attended college within 2 years.

The florida dream act is the biggest croc shit ever, I am awaiting my response aswell. I applied nearly a month ago and have not heard anything. Kendal campus btw. A

Another question did you apply for the daca waiver or the out of state waiver? As far I know the daca waiver doesnt even exist anymore... just seeking some clarification.

I have so many questions, and its mainly because I did not even count daca waiver as an option. Did you see a suprrvisor or just applied at the desk at admissions?

FIU has been very considerate with whole waiver process. I suggest switching to FIU if you're able.

For anyone interested, I'm currently attending a new university in Miami (Universidad Autonoma del Caribe - School of Global Management). They are giving 80% scholarship to new students. They are in the middle of the accreditation process and their getting their grand visit from the accreditors next month I think the 18th, so after they get officially accredited, they will end the scholarships. It only offers one major which is Business management (Bachelor's and Masters). It a very well known university in Colombia. If you guys want to know more PM me or let me know through here.

My little brother's DACA waiver just got approved yesterday at PBSC and he put it in Monday.
I helped him out with it and the process was way too easy...
I recommend that school to any DACA students out there
