December EAD Expirations Group
 

I've been a member of dreamact.info for a very long time but I have forgotten my password to my username and I'm having some problems getting a new one. Anyway! My EAD is expiring 12/16/2014 and I will barely be sending my renewal application in this Tuesday (after Labor day).

Anyone else that has their EAD expiring in December? Have you sent in your application already and gotten biometrics done?

mine expires 12/13/14, i sent my renewal stuff on Aug, 13th. i just got my letters in the mail saying they received it. Thing is im in Cali but my stuff got sent to the nebraska center :o. Waiting for my bio letters to come in so i can do a walk in like last time :P

My EAD Expires on December 14, 2014. I sent my application about a month ago and im up for biometrics this Tuesday.

Im on the same boat as you. Im from California and the first time it was processed here but now it's in Nebraska.

So did it take about a month for your biometrics appointment to get in?

I have a feeling my EAD and DACA will expire before my renewals come in. :( But oh well I had quite a few hiccups these last few months including car problems etc.

Yeah it was about a month time frame until my biometrics appointment. Dont worry, we will all get our renewals soon.

Mine is expiring on 12/05.
Sent my renewal 8/1. got my letter for biometrics like 8/22 i think. walked in the next day.
just waiting for the renewal now. i hope it gets approved.

oh btw, im in cali but like u guys, mine got sent to nebraska too.

Mine expires 12/2.

Sent my app on Aug 4th. Got text/emails on Aug 7th claiming they accepted my case and has been sent to Nebraska. Got the same mail a week later. And a week later, got a biometrics appointment letter. My biometrics appointment is this Wednesday (9/3/14).

So after my biometrics this Wednesday, I will have nearly 3 months for my DACA renewal to be approved.

Renewal Info EAD expires in 12/05/2014

2.sent on July 18,2014 received on July 21 , 2014. Nebraska service center.
3. Notice sent by service center on July 23, 2014.
4. Notice received on July 25, 2014
5. Biometrics sent by service center on August 2, 2014.
6. Biometrics received on August 8, 2014.
7. Biometrics completed by August 22,2014 @ 2 PM Houston TX.

I'm very nervous about renewals, I really hope I don't lose my job, took me a while to get a good paying job in mechanical engineering .

Mine expires 12/9
I sent mine on Aug 14th and my biometrics will be on Sept 9th :)
Mine went to Nebraska- just like the first time I sent it.

I made so many financial mistakes this last year. But I'm glad I'm alive. I was only able to use my EAD for about a little more than a year since I was serving a volunteer mission for my Church. I'm sort of resigned to the fact that my DACA and EAD will expire before I will get my renewals. Oh well. I'll face the consequences.

Mine expires December 14th I sent in my renewal at about 145 days..
Did my biometrics August 18th (no walk in) I just hope everything goes smoothly from here, atleast I gave myself a good amount if time before expiration.

Stop being nervous. It'll be fine. First and second batch of approvals had happened. I swear we have bunch of nervous Nancys in this forum. I'm going to my biometrics today and mine expires 12/2.

If it doesn't get renewed in time, then so be it. Ask the employer if you can work temporarily as an unpaid intern or something (I know this is supposedly against the law but employer don't need to say shit to nobody).

Go with the flow. Can't live your life worrying. If something unexpected happens, you adjust. Not like we're in a situation where we're getting beheaded over there in the Middle East.

You're right! It's not like we haven't lived without DACA/EAD's before. When I realized I may have an expired DL and no job etc. I started freaking out. But then I realized I've driven for years without a license and somehow still managed to work without an EAD. So yeah I'll survive.

I dont know if I would consider my job a good one or well paying but I make 32k base salary on top of commission as an Inside sales representative (hardly cold calling, just putting in order most of the time) and im not nervous. Told my employer I would be willing to work as an unpaid intern if mine doesnt get approved in time until it does.

If I do get fired, I would use that experience in the resume. At least this time around, a lot of us would have good relevant experience entering the job market.

32k is my base salary, I do make comission on top of that. But I dont like the job. I rather be happy and make less tbh.

I like what I do.. I get home very tired but satisfied with what I have done. I plan to move up. I have a lot of opportunities to do so, school was something that I didn't enjoyed..

Did my biometrics today which is 3 weeks after USCIS got my applications. I am just concerned about the EADs having the incorrect expiration dates on them as other people are saying their cards are coming with new expiration dates and not their original expiration date. Good luck, everyone. :D

Mine expires 12/9 and sister's expire 12/5.
My sister sent her application in approximately 118 days before, mine was sent approximately 104 days before. We received the letter of acceptance and just did our finger prints yesterday and now we are patiently waiting.

Hey guys, I'm new here. Just signed up.

My EAD expires on 12/5 and I finally was able to get the money together to send out the application. I have an appointment on Friday with my attorney so that we can get everything filled out. I'm really nervous because there are about 85 days until my document expires and I don't know if I'll receive my new card before that happens.

What is the normal turnaround time for the renewal process? I really don't want to have issues at work because of this! In the event that I don't receive my new EAD before my current one expires, what do you guys think I should do?

I really wish I could have sent this in at the beginning on last month.

If your case is pretty clean, you should save yourself a week of waiting to meet with an attorney that you could use to have your forms delivered. Most of the people on this forum have filled out their applications themselves, done everything correctly, and gotten re-approved. If you take the time to sit down and read the "What your renewal packet should look like" thread AND the renewal forms over and over, you can certainly do it alone.

I sent mine Sept 1st and already completed bios, and I'm still nervous I'm cutting it close. Everyone has had different approval times. Some in only a week after bios. It also appears they may be approving by expiration dates. So yes... do not waste time/money unless absolutely necessary if your case is complicated.

Very well said. No need to go to an attorney unless you have a complicated case, or problems with the law, or if you feel like you may need one. But it's really up to you as well. I personally saved hundreds of dollars by not going to one and got approved the first time and now I've sent my own renewal application as well.

Still waiting for my biometrics appointment. Hopefully I get it sometime this week. I will probably do a walk in which should is the ideal for me since I'm sort of not really working for the next two weeks.

It takes about 2 to 3 weeks to get your biometrics appointment.
Looking at your timeline, its only been a week.

I got my biometrics appointment on Monday for Oct 2, but I am going to do a walk in at the Salt Lake City ASC in a few moments.
