Okay, that looks pretty...and expensive, damn. I'm going to need to get a new laptop soon because my current one is going out, and I was thinking of switching from PC to Mac, so maybe...

Re: MacBook Air

the only reason you buy a mac is for the looks...all macs last for like a year and then they start to screw up...I have a powerbook that now my mom uses and the hard drive and memory controller failed when nearly everyone had that problem, apple didnt do anything about it...

so its basically a showpiece for "status" to have an apple...

Really? I speak to so many Mac users and they seem to think of Mac as the second coming. But if they break easily, I do not want. I'm trying to get something which will last, unlike my stupid Acer.

I hear ASUS has good laptops...I built my computer with an Asus motherboard and its so solid.
I would try to buy online and buy whatever OS you want and install it yourself. Stay away from geeksquad and firedog

I was gonna get this when I first heard about it but eh... I know I'll end up breaking that thing. Now I gotta find something else.

I was just about to get a MacBook (the white glossy one) but now that they're coming up with new stuff I think I'll wait, I really like that Air one but seems too good to be true, Im sure there will be some complaints about it later on, we'll see.

Honestly, I have not really used it. I have a desktop and most of the time I use that comp or the one at work. Right now I am at the one at work, lol. I wanted it because I thought I would be using it at school or hauling it back and forth but I don't. Don't get me wrong I still love it. I got the champage colored one, I was going to buy it but my mom and sister beat me to it. I use to have a $3000. Vaio and boy did everything go wrong with that one. The motherboard, hard drive crashed, camera broke, and the keys began to fade. I was hesitant about getting another Vaio but I fell in love with the color and sleek style. If my friend fixes the old one you can have it. Lol It is still pretty cute and very small. I guess the one I have now seems to big to carry around everywhere.

Yeah, I want one of those tiny notebooks, ideally.

Crossing Vaio off my list haha.

Yes I think I should have asked for the pricier, smaller one. Lol

This is the one I have.

Weighs 5.5 lbs. and measures just 1.7" It is not that big or heavy but look at my old one. It is a huge change.

This is the one I use to have.

Ohhh, that is cute. The ones I really like are...I forget what they're called, maybe Thinkpad? The one's in the commercial that come in all colors.

I just need to close my eyes and not choose one on the basis of prettiness, though. Must...resist...

Exactly, and I doubt it will be covered with the Apple Care Protection Plan.
