Right? :? It' was hilarious how he spoke about splitting up families and ending birthright citizenship. Oh yeah and the wall!

I know logistically, it doesn't make sense and may not even be possible. But, forgive me if I still have trouble believing anything he or the people from his administration say. He is beholden to the ignorant masses that elected him. He has nominated Jeff Sessions and Steven Bannon, an admitted White Supremacist, continues to have his ear in a coveted senior adviser position.

I never worry about his call for deporting 11 million people, it's just impossible. However, he has the power to make our lives much more difficult. He can do Arizona style enforcement, work place raid, rescind DACA and etc....

I give him major props for this though. In my opinion, he just used all this rhetoric to wake up a huge electorate to make them feel like there is someone out there who has their back and not just immigrants and rich people from big cities! Many many people from this so called silent majority are great, hard working, and not racist at all! Those people will not mind this. I feel like Trump knew all this and just had to sell all those lies in order to become President finally do whats right for EVERYONE! We should give him the benefit of the doubt here and just hold on to our seats. We are less than a month away.

I keep saying, the devil is in the details. What do they consider criminal? millions of Illegal immigrants have Driving Without a License Misdemeanors... thousands of dreamers do too. Are they going to come after these people too?

I have been saying, Trump might not be prepared to be president and he might say controversial things, but he is not evil.

We will be better off than if Ted Cruz was president for example.

When I started working for JPMorgan they apparently had all my information from the DHS including my photo and complete biometrics. I can only assume this is perhaps why I got my DACA approval In less than 3 months. Nonetheless, CORPORATIONS RUN THIS COUNTRY and influence policy more so than the politicians themselves. There is absolutely no doubt about that. And what corporations desire is more immigration and easier access to the labor supply market, AKA, people who come here to this country and are willing to work harder than the loathing welfare milking citizens who do nothing but complain about how this country is going down the tubes but have never stepped out of their comfort zone and realize how good they have it here. Pro-immigration policies are good for corporate profit margins, pro-immigration policies are good for their shareholders, and it is certainly good for hard-working Dreamers like us who have actually demonstrated with having a net-positive impact on the national GDP.

These Alt-right nut jobs and their racist antics will soon realize they will never win a battle against logical reasoning or the truth.

In any case, people should be paying less attention to what Trump has said and more on what he's doing. I guess it's understandable to not trust a guy who says one thing and does another. But then again is he really the one calling all the shots? My guess is absolutely not! Until you completely separate money from politics, in my opinion nothing is going change! 11 million supposedly undocumented immigrants are not getting deported and draining the swamp clearly isn't happening. It's still business as usual on Wall Street and comprehensive immigration reform is right around the corner. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Someone told me that someone with DACA was able to adjust via employer. If that is true, it means that employers have a major pull.

I do not have proof, so, what happened is that my friend, a coworker, was offered a job and the company offered to do this for him after 2 years of employment. Because he never thought DACA would end, he ended up not taking it and went to work for my current company (my company is better). He said among the people who interviewed, there was another dreamer who took the job. Apparently the company followed through, they make fridges and jet engines. Apparently for them it was no issue.

I honestly do not believe it, but he assures me it is true...

I asked him if the girl had some sort of different status and he said no.

I just figured I would share to discuss. I know we have talked about it but nevertheless it is a possibility given how much influence corporations have on individual cases.
