that was a waste of money and all that just for 1 guy. You have to imagine that they're going to run out money soon.

Why let him on in the first place?
If they were looking for him TSA could have simply pull him aside. A waste of resources checking everyone. CBP must have been hoping to catch more people from this act who were accompanying him. However, they do have the right do this as all airports are their jurisdiction. |

Good point to the people who point at the efficiency of enforcement.
Money will indeed run out. This executive order sounds bad, but full implementation will take years. |
Re: CBP, Ask identification of domestic flight passengers landing at NYC
Anyone think this is coverup? Saying they were looking for someone to avoid bad press?
1) Why didn't they just go on the flight and say, we are looking for XYZ. If you are on the flight, please step up. 2) They said the person never boarded the plane but officials could not confirmed that with the airline/flight attendees. What was the point in asking everyone to show "documents". |

" The person is a convicted criminal, he may grab someone as hostage, escape, he could of change appearance. Who knows? " wait wouldnt he seeing iCE check for ID would cause him to grab someone as hostage since you know hes a convicted criminal? |
Re: CBP, Ask identification of domestic flight passengers landing at NYC
Great. Now if you don't have DACA or any other kind of protection then you can't even board a domestic flight anymore.
This is an absurd overreach of authority by DHS. What would have happened if people refused to show their ID's or if agents would have encountered just a random undocumented person? Civil rights are about to be tested like never before under this administration. |

Undocumented people should not fly in the first place |

But then again I look white, speak flawless English, and am always looking very dapper when i fly. TSA has never once looked twice at my foreign passport when i go through security. Now, i'm not sure i'll board a domestic flight anymore. |

I fly for work all the time. Usually from Dallas to Laguardia to this happening at JFK was a little too close to home and mad scary.

The tsa agent checked his passport ask him to follow him into a room, immigration came in ask him his legal status, arrested him and was deported. This was in 2011
