Sanders: Trump ending DACA would be 'one of the ugliest and cruelest decisions'

Has Hillary said anything?

Quote:

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said on Sunday that if President Trump followed through with ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, it would be "one of the ugliest and cruelest decisions ever made by a president."

Sanders took Trump to task in a series of tweets after Politico reported that Trump had decided to terminate DACA with a six-month delay.

"Taking legal protections away from 800,000 young people raised in this country is absolutely counter to what we stand for as a nation," Sanders continued. "If Trump ends DACA, Congress must act immediately to restore it."

The program temporarily prevented the deportation of undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as minors and sought work permits.

The six-month window before the formal end of the program would give Congress the chance to step in and pass legislation before the protections are ended.

Trump will announce his final decision on the future of DACA on Tuesday.

We have sanders backing us up.

Sanders is a US senator. Hillary isn't in government now. What else could she do? Not like Trump is going
to listen to the woman whom his supporters chant to lock up during his rallies.

It’s this dumb mentality that got Trump elected.

Fuck you. If she would have been President, we wouldn't be in this boat.

If she would have campaigned right, not lie about her emails and Benghazi, and actually visited the swing states we wouldn't have been in this boat. She's another phony, because of her husband is the reason we have the 10 year immigration ban if we were to leave the country to adjust. She voted for a fence and was against giving undocumented immigrants driver licenses in NY.

Would we have been better off with her? Not really, at least Trump is pushing for a permanente fix. We would have gotten nothing with Hillary.

Benghazi was a Republican lie and you know it. Just like the lies they say about us, because they know that if they say the same lie over and over again eventually enough people will believe it. Just like they lie about climate change, just like they lie about healthcare, just like they lie about immigrants.

I'm talking about the fact how she handle it afterwards, nonchalant, a joke. That hurt her for sure. Even if you take Benghazi out of the equation, she screwed up big time, and she was not the perfect candidate for her to be on the ballot.

I agree, the lawsuit would probably have been a thing, but the supreme Court would not be composed of a majority of conservatives.

That's not true. I think that the AGs still would have threatened to sue. I will even venture to say that maybe MORE AGs would have signed on because a Democrat was in office.

I'm not bitter, quite frankly I never trusted her because her political facts on her immigration record spoke for itself. Yes she was saying the things we wanted to hear during the election, but those were empty words.

I don't get the hate here. You know at a minimum she would be defending DACA against the lawsuit. More importantly, the defeat would have absolutely destroyed Republican morals and they would finally start to introspect and get rid of the extremists of their party and perhaps work towards the center.

But yeah...I know, Benghazi..."What about the emails?!". Save it for the Trump rallies.

How would you have known that under Clinton the DACA lawsuit would have been defeated if all lawyers right now are saying that it has no chance of surviving in court? Had it been defeated under the Clinton campaign do you think Republicans would be coming to the table to compromise to get us protection? Of course not.

At least right now there is a bigger chance to fix this once and for all. Under Clinton no way Republicans would be willing to compromise with her. The issue would have been a lot bigger under her administration and most likely we would have lost our protections with absolutely no chance of bipartisanship.

Sanders was a crazy loon who wanted freebies for everyone. His cult like followers were not very different from Trump’s followers. That’s probably why many of them voted for Trump after Hillary fairly defeated him.

relax dude,

so the Barack Obama voters who supported BO in 08 and 12 are crazy because they crossed over and supported Trump in '16?

"Based on Trump’s overall popular vote, the poll’s finding suggests that roughly 9.2 million Trump voters cast a ballot for Obama in 2012, a higher estimate than those based off the two election studies."

Hillary ain't walking through that door bro, she ain't saving your DREAMer ass.

Based on the interviews I’ve heard a lot of them didn’t want a woman for president. But yes anyone who actually voted for Trump is crazy or mentality ill in some way.

based on interviews and saying you've heard they dont want a woman for president is the most lamest counter argument you could ever come up with.

thats 9.2 million mentally ill Democrat Barack Obama supporters then.

That’s a lot of people who didn’t want a woman to win. Wow. Probably mostly misogynistic black men.

Anyways thanks for the stats.

you base your arguments on pure emotion bro,

cant you just accept the fact that Hillary Rodham Clinton was just a bad candidate?

the Democrats couldve put up and ran anyone else against Trump and they wouldve beaten him in double digit margins.

hell they couldve ran Carnivore in this forum and he would've beaten Trump.

I thinks it's funny how Bernie bros here conveniently forget how then Independent Sanders voted against immigration reform in 2007 arguing that unskilled workers suppress wages for working class Americans. The same talking points you know hear from the Breitbart crowd

The candidacy of Hillary hsd major flaws. Had a different person been selected by the Dem party, Trump would have lost. It wasn't dem policy that ruined her...it was her personality.
