What's Everyone Up to? The Most Interesting thing that happened to you lately?
 

I'm doing great. And perhaps the most interesting thing that's happening to me its that I'm finally getting a "new" motorcycle. I'm still shopping around, but I've narrowed down my choice to either a:

Suzuki Savage 650

or a

Yamaha Virago 500-700

But anything can happen and I might end up not getting either one and buying something else.

Now...what's interesting in your life?

On Wednesday I have a International Maritime Law final and a presentation on the Ethics of Immigration Reform and I am DUNZO for the semester, I am graduating in 2009. I have a couple of a food server and bartending job for the summer.

Interesting, I got in trouble for being 10 min late to work today. That sucked. I have a bunch of papers due next week. Yesterday I fell asleep at 7 pm so my friends went to the movies without me since I slept right through the phone calls. I am fed up with the transportation problems so I have decided to lease a Jetta. Does anyone have any idea what insurance for a 2008 Jetta would run for me (keep in mind the situation)? But other than the minor bumps, life is great!

well im moving may 1st to my new apartment .... just got a 47 inch lcd flat screen, my grandma got into an accident today, my boss told my last Friday that i was doing good, im writing a paper about product liability for my business law class, and im also buying a new bed.... oh and we also got a bar for my new place

I just spent the last two weeks preparing for our school's big oral arguments competition for appellate advocacy. Basically, you give an oral argument to a panel of appellate judges, and they are free to interrupt and ask questions at their discretion. For both rounds I happened to get a "very hot" panel where the judges ask you questions nonstop (often times rudely). Anyways, the preparation paid off and I was invited to join the Moot Court Honor Society, which is a team of the school's top appellate advocates who compete in competitions across the country. I'm pretty psyched since our school has one of the top appellate advocacy programs in the country. I Just thought I'd share since that was one of the most nerve-racking (and yet enjoyable) weeks of my life.

By the way, I recently visited the U.S. Court of Appeals to sit in on a case. I didn't know what was on the docket that day, but lo and behold, it was an immigration case (a deportation case at that). What a day to pick...

i just got back from a strip club :smile:

it was great ... haha. the cover is a bit expensive (13) but hey, the chicks are HOT. :razz:

and the lap dances are sweeeeeeeet. i feel kinda retarded for blowing 50 bucks at a strip club BUT there's this one stripper. i honestly fell in love with a stripper tonight.

haha. oh yeah. i'm not a boy ... haha.:shock:

The most interesting thing that has happened to me recently is busting a guy who was driving drunk yesterday. My friend was about to drop me off when I noticed the guy in front of us swerving all over the place. He was driving one of those big Lincoln Navigators and almost went into a ditch a few times which I thought if he did, he was going to flip over with the speed he was going at.

So I tell my friend to call the cops and they tell us to follow him and keep letting them know which way he was headed. We follow him for 6 miles or so. Finally the cop catches up to us and pulls him over. Most people when they pull over, get on the shoulder or turn onto a side street... nope not this guy... he blocks a street entrance. A few minutes later another squad car comes by, the guy is taken out of his car, sobriety tested, handcuffed and put into the cop car. We were laughing our asses off. He was charged with a DUI and we get $100 plus the satisfaction of knowing we could've potentially saved not only his life, but the life of many others.

Yikes. Isn't that the hardest major at UCSD? lol. congrats though and good luck.

I have a license and I got it through that new law in CA that lets people who come into the DMV office with alive dragon get a driver's license regarding their immigration status.
