So getting an ID is not avalible anymore in Seattle? Thats bad to hear but good to know.

There are other states that you could check, it was hard for me to belive that it was possible in Seattle at the first place, I know that its getting harder by the day.
If you need to drive then you could get that Driving Privillege Card.

Sorry to hear BeatlesFan. This is one of the issue I care most about because I am planning to get one! I am planning to go to New Mexico next several months. I think New Mexico allows us to do so.
Oh if possible, could someone share us how to obtain the ID in shortest time (proving state residents, requirements....)? Thanks

They only took away the "school yearbook" but they changed the requirement from 5 items to only 4 items. You should still be good.

beattles fan, what did you do about the residency requirement? I think I have all the ID requirements, but I wouldn't have any bills from the state.

Thanks.

So you are stateless? thats crazy. I don't think that you can even be deported.
I never thought that you could lose a citizenship if its the only citizenship you have, hows something like it happens? maybe there is a legal solution for you to stay in the US without needing DREAM to pass?

Only if it was funny in the first place. There are quite a few European,African & former Soviet Union countries that facilitate statelessness having recently changed their own immigration laws.

It could also be difficult if not impossible for any Dreamer to travel should the Dream act pass due to WHTI.The bottom-line is that if life is already difficult here in the US when you can't even show US ID to travel within the United States imagine what it must be like with no ID to show any country in the world.

BTW,Stateless persons can be deported.Homeland Security will always try just as long as the territory accepts the individual.

im not exactly sure, but most likely yes, the only thing that they have done new recently is, adding security features, with the IDs/licenses, so it is harder to copy.

Have anyone tried to get ID in New Mexico?
Could you please share your experience? Thanks!

Re: Going to Seattle.. maybe not.

I got my I.D from Washington state. And so did my dad. Although it was very difficult for him due to all the perquisites. 4 I think. He had to show Mexican consulate I.D, Birth Certificate, Electric bill and something else. It was easy for me cuz my dad just signed an affidavit saying I was me. He also got his license. We live in CA now but i'll be moving back to Washington soon after high school to go to college and hopefully get my license.

I think there's someway you can be a legal resident w/o the dream act. Did immigration lawyers say any good news?
